Hello every one , The date is still tentative and we are working on it. There are some permissions that need to be taken from the government institutions. As soon as we do that we will let every one know.

Half Marathon this morning with the boys 👍 It was our regular flat route in the F9 park which is 7km long we did 3 laps. The last lap was a tough one with the sun out and temperature rising. The scenic views and great company is what makes these long runs unbelievably easy. Planning a race in October in Islamabad. 💦

No smoking, dog-walking, biking, skating or scooting.
There is a sign stating certain things you may not do on the High Line, Manhattan’s celebrated, elevated pedestrian park that was once a railway track. Something is missing from the list, a prohibition against running. For those of us always searching for new places to run, that omission was an invitation. I wish I could stay longer but that one run in the bustling New York City is something to cherish.

My first International race was in the south of Lebanon. I was visiting Beirut for work and found this 10km race. It was up in the hills and a bus was organised to take all the runners from Beirut. It was a very well organised race with breathtaking views. The first 6km were uphill and the Monal runs we do in Islamabad really came in handy. This was also my best 10km time as I really pushed in the last 3-4 km. Finished at 67th position out of approx 300 people. Met quite a few nice people including the minister of sports for Lebanon and enjoyed the great ceremony after. Thank you Elite Running Club and Ahmad Khalife

Always wanted to run in Manhattan and couldn't have found a better place than the high line. High Line is a 2.5 km-long New York City park built in Manhattan on an elevated section of an unused railway track. You get the top views of all the streets with greenery all around. Best use of an unused Train track. Had an easy 10k run and preparing for the half marathon on Sunday. Saf Khan thank you for pushing me into this run :-) -marathon

This Sunday was my longest run and to top that it was on the toughest hill we have in Islamabad. We started off at 5 am in the morning when it was 23C and by the time we had finished it had reached 37 C. We had the maximum of 600 Meters elevation from the starting point to the mid one. My friends here are regular to Monal run and helped me a lot in pushing this run to a next level. I always thought downhill would be a piece of cake but that's not the case it requires a lot of energy to control your pace when it's a steep slope. Have a sore knee and will give a couple of days to recover. Happy Sunday and Happy running.
