Regional Cricket Association - Islamabad

The Lahore High Court today allowed writ petition (No 37823/25) - Shakil Shaikh vs Pakistan Cricket Board.
The short order was announced in court by Honorable Justice Malik Javed Iqbal Wains after hearing detailed arguments.
Advocate Mr Taffazul Rizvi appeared and argued the writ petition.
By this judgement, order of PCB Adjudicator dated 27-5-2025 and PCB notification of 28-5-2025 (through which Islamabad Region Cricket Association as well as Islamabad's Zonal Cricket Associations were restrained from working in their respective offices) stand set aside thereby restoring the elected regional and zonal cricket associations in Islamabad.

ایڈووکیٹ مسٹر تفضل رضوی نے رِٹ پٹیشن کی جانب سے پیش ہو کر دلائل دیے۔
اس فیصلے کے نتیجے میں پی سی بی کے ایڈجوڈی کیٹر کا مورخہ 27-5-2025 کا حکم اور پی سی بی کا 28-5-2025 کا نوٹیفکیشن (جس کے ذریعے اسلام آباد ریجن کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشن اور اسلام آباد کی زونل کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشنز کو اپنے اپنے دفاتر میں کام کرنے سے روک دیا گیا تھا) کالعدم قرار دے دیے گئے ہیں۔ اس طرح اسلام آباد کی منتخب ریجنل اور زونل کرکٹ ایسوسی ایشنز بحال ہو گئی ہیں۔
معزز جج نے مسٹر رضوی کے اس مؤقف سے اتفاق کیا کہ پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کے خلاف رِٹ پٹیشن قابلِ سماعت ہے۔
