I received a souvenir from the Rector of NUCES FAST Islamabad in recognition of conducting a successful Women's Self-Defense Seminar.

The women's self-defense seminar at FAST University Islamabad lasted three hours and focused on equipping participants with the knowledge and practical skills to navigate dangerous situations. Shihan Qasim Suleman, a seasoned expert and the Head of Shotokan Karate Schools Islamabad Pakistan, led the session. He provided a thorough analysis of potential threats that women might face in today’s environment, drawing on real-world examples.

The seminar included:

Awareness Training: Participants learned to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations, stressing situational awareness.
Practical Techniques: Shihan Suleman demonstrated effective self-defense moves tailored for common assault scenarios, such as grabs, strikes, and escapes.
Mental Preparedness: Emphasis was placed on staying calm under pressure and maintaining presence of mind during a confrontation.
These teachings aimed to empower women, giving them the confidence and skills needed to protect themselves.
