Thank you so much to everyone for participating, supporting, and encouraging your friends, family members, and fellow runners to be part of Pakistan’s first-ever 1K Vertical Road Marathon.

Massive congratulations to all race finishers of the Margalla Marathon, especially the full marathon category warriors who made history as the founding finishers of this incredibly tough course. With an ascent of 1300m and over 500m descent, this race truly stands among the top ten toughest road marathons in the world.

It is truly inspiring to witness participation grow to more than three times compared to last year’s edition. This achievement belongs to the entire running community of Pakistan especially those who traveled from other cities and distant areas to be part of this event. Congratulations to each and every one of you!
A special salute to our female participants your strength, resilience, and determination are truly admirable.

The real heroes of this event are our volunteers, who made everything possible. Serving with smiling faces even after standing for hours, their dedication deserves the highest respect and appreciation.

We did our best to organize all race-related matters within our limited resources. If you experienced any inconvenience or shortcomings, we sincerely apologize. If any organizer or volunteer unintentionally used harsh words in the heat of the moment after long, sleepless efforts, we deeply regret it and ask for your understanding.

Once again, congratulations to everyone we are proud of you all. Cheers!
