The Pakistan HVACR Society, in collaboration with the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination (MoCC&EC) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), organized an important ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ง ๐๐š๐ค๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐งโ€™๐ฌ ๐Š๐ข๐ ๐š๐ฅ๐ข ๐ˆ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ง (๐Š๐ˆ๐) for key stakeholders from the HVACR industry.

The session aimed to enhance understanding of Pakistanโ€™s environmental commitments under the ๐Œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐จ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ ๐Š๐ข๐ ๐š๐ฅ๐ข ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, with particular focus on the ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ก๐š๐ฌ๐ž ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐ฒ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐จ๐ซ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐›๐จ๐ง๐ฌ (๐‡๐…๐‚๐ฌ) used in refrigeration and air conditioning applications.

The event provided an opportunity for industry stakeholders to learn about the objectives and implementation requirements of Pakistanโ€™s KIP, discuss the transition towards more sustainable and climate friendly refrigerants, and highlight the important role of manufacturers, assemblers, installers, technicians, training institutions, and other industry professionals in supporting this transition.

The 159th Executive Council Meeting of the Pakistan HVACR Society was successfully held on 21st & 22nd August 2026 at the Society HQ, Islamabad.

The Pakistan HVACR Society Lahore Chapter successfully conducted a technical seminar today at the Lahore Chapter Society Office on โ€œImportance of Cold Chain in Pharma Industry.โ€

The seminar witnessed active participation from contractors, consultants, students, technicians, industry professionals, academia, and local manufacturers, reflecting strong interest in the subject and its growing importance within the HVACR and pharmaceutical sectors.

Mr. Syed Afaq Hussain Shah, District Placement Officer, TEVTA Attock, represented TEVTA. Mr. Muhammad Bilal Zuberi represented the Pakistan HVACR Society and briefed the meeting on HVACR industry requirements and the need for modern, industry oriented technical training.

Mr. Zeeshan A. Siddiqui, Chair, Technical Training Committee, joined the meeting online from Karachi and provided valuable technical input regarding HVACR skills development.
