A delegation from the Pakistan HVACR Society Lahore Chapter visited COMSATS University, Lahore Campus, for an introductory meeting aimed at strengthening academiaโ€“industry collaboration and enhancing student engagement with the HVACR profession.

The delegation was led by Mr. Jafar Raza Haidery (Chapter Chairman), and included Engr. Waqas Arshad Farooqi (Coordinator Student Affairs) and Mr. Athar Shahzad Amir (Senior Office Secretary).

The delegation held a productive and engaging discussion with Mr. Fahad Rehman, Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, along with Dr. Haris Humayun and Dr. Faisal.

The COMSATS faculty was briefed on the Pakistan HVACR Societyโ€™s activities, student membership benefits, technical seminars, professional networking opportunities, and avenues for enhancing studentโ€“industry interaction.

The faculty members were also invited to visit the Pakistan HVACR Society Lahore Chapter Office to gain further insight into the Societyโ€™s activities and explore opportunities for future collaboration, including the possibility of establishing a Student Chapter at COMSATS University, Lahore Campus.

The Organizing Committee of the 32nd Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference 2027 convened to review the remarkable response to the opening of stall bookings and to discuss the roadmap for the upcoming Expo.

The Chairman congratulated the entire team on the overwhelming response from exhibitors, reflecting the industryโ€™s strong confidence and enthusiasm for the event.

The meeting also focused on forthcoming activities, further planning and key preparations to ensure a well organized and successful Expo.

All participants contributed valuable insights and demonstrated a strong spirit of teamwork and commitment.

Under the leadership of Mr. Abdul Raheem, the Pakistan HVACR Society Faisalabad Chapter organized a technical visit to an under construction project for the students of Vocational Training Institute (VTI).

During the visit, Mr. Nadeem Akhtar provided the students with valuable practical guidance about the Air Handling Unit (AHU) currently under the installation process. He explained the major components, installation procedures, and practical considerations involved in AHU installation.

The visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to connect their classroom knowledge with real world HVACR practices and gain firsthand exposure to an active project site.

We appreciate the efforts of Mr. Nadeem Akhtar for supporting technical education and providing students with meaningful practical learning opportunities.

After two successful meetups in Lahore and Karachi, the Pakistan HVACR Society, Lahore Chapter, successfully organized the Islamabad Exhibitorsโ€™ Meetup on 15 September 2026 as part of preparations for the 32nd Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference 2027.

The event was attended by Senior Society Members, Office Bearers, Organizing Committee Members, Exhibitors and Representatives of the HVACR Industry. As usual, Athar Shahzad Amir has taken on the responsibilities of the stage and handled them very well.

The gathering commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Safdar Ali, Convener Expo & Conference then followed by a detailed presentation by Mr. Jafar Raza Haidery, Chairman Organizing Committee. The event was further addressed by Mr. Mubasher Ahmed, Chairman Advisory Council, Mr. Ahmad Naeem Chughtai, Hony. General Secretary and Mr. Muhammad Afzaal Malik, Chief Convener Expo & Conference. When the question and answer session began, participants gave great suggestions for further improving the exhibition & all participants appreciated Mr. Jafar Raza Haidery presentation.

The speakers highlighted the importance of industry participation, exhibitor engagement and collective support for making the upcoming Expo a major success. The interactive session also provided participants with an opportunity to engage directly with the Society Leadership and Organizing Committee.

The strong response from Islamabad HVACR fraternity added further momentum to the 32nd Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference 2027, scheduled to be held from 1, 2 & 3 April 2027 at Lahore Expo Centre.
