I am so happy to finally present KickFit's first ever Judo grading 😀!

This has been a long time coming and I am so proud of these girls for all the effort and hard work they put into learning the 'gentle way'. Some have been training judo for a year, some for only a few months and one who only began one month ago but has so much passion and is so quick to learn I had to let her grade 🤟🏽

Congratulations to you all and may you carry on training hard in your sessions and spread the word and spirit of Judo onwards 🥋🙏🏽

🥋 Introducing the first female black belt judoka under Jigoro Kano Judo School 🙏🏽

Made it to 1st Dan after 7 years of slaps by Sensei Sir Rahim! 🥋⚫

I was first introduced to Sir Rahim and Sir Momin in 2018 when they held a judo camp for beginners. Who knew that those few days would make me fall in love with 'the gentle way'. Judo not only became my passion but also gave me immense empowerment, confidence, and security in my own ability to defend myself quickly and efficiently.

Despite missing training due to COVID, I continued practicing at home with solo drills. My commitment to the sport and Sir Rahim and Sir Momin's constant trust in my ability pushed me to carry on training wherever and whenever I could.

As a white belt, I made Sir Rahim promise me he'll be the one to tie my black belt when the day comes and so he did!

A huge thank you to my club and mentors for all the blood, sweat and tears that brought me to this point. Now begins a new chapter in my Judo journey and may you all continue to be a part of it 🙏🏽🥋❤️
