At the Hero Open Taekwondo Championship, our fighters bagged 4 medals — 2 GOLD (Muhammad Umar, Syed Hamza Shah) & 2 SILVER (Shamil Ali Hussain, Hammad Nadeem) 🏆✨

Pakistani athletes showcased remarkable talent at the Hero Open Malaysia International Taekwondo Championship, securing two gold and two silver medals among more than 2,000 competitors from 20 countries. According to a press release issued on Sunday, Muhammad Umar triumphed in the senior category, defeating a Chinese opponent to win a gold medal, while Syed Hamza Shah claimed the second gold for Pakistan by overcoming strong contenders from Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. Shamil Ali Hussain impressed with three consecutive victories before narrowly missing the top spot in the final, earning a silver medal. Likewise, Hamad Nadeem delivered a spirited performance to reach the final and secured another silver for the country. The statement noted that this accomplishment not only brings pride to the nation but also contributes to enhancing Pakistan’s positive image on the international sporting stage.
