Honoring Pakistan and India record breaker tomorrow

Ahmed Mamoor Amimi, President of the Pakistan Boat Rally and Fishing Association, congratulates Mr. Khalid, a senior angler and Pakistan Boat Rally member, for being lucky today to catch 210 kg of Marlin fish near the Continental Shelf, which the locals call Khadda. This is the same point where our region's tectonic plates meet. It took him 4 hours to play and eventually land that huge giant on his boat. Keep in mind that this is the Pakistani top record for angling fish as of today.
Our other team members, Mr. Abdullah and Mr. Afzal, also spotted two whales near Karamat, which is around 80 km outside Karachi in the deep sea.
Pakistan is blessed with not just beautiful land but also the sea. Last year, the Pakistan Boat Rally spotted around 1000 dolphins swimming along with our boats.
These activities can be converted into sustainable sea tourism and can bring livelihoods to the people of Pakistan if channeled properly.
