Karachi United FC has established its girl's (U6, U10, U14 and U16) and women's (age 17 and over/senior) team and invites YOU to come play, watch, and support Karachi's talented female football enthusiasts! Our successful youth programs focus on coaching from grassroots and developing an understanding of the game. Hear from Coach Tasveer and Mehr, as they reflect on their coaching journey with United for Women’s Health & Wellbeing, a project supported by the Al Basma Foundation.

They share how football coaching brought girls from different communities and backgrounds together, giving them a space to play, build their skills and celebrate sportsmanship. They also reflect on how the programme encouraged girls to learn about physical and mental wellbeing, understand and manage their emotions, and have conversations around topics that are often not openly discussed.

We are grateful to our, participants, the Karachi United team and Al Basma Foundation for being part of this journey.

Misbah shares how the program engaged adolescent girls from diverse communities through football and created safe spaces to learn, connect, and build awareness around key areas of health, hygiene, and wellbeing.
