GSDCP (Pvt) Ltd. is a registered organisation, and is dedicated to the improvement, promotion and protection of the German Shepherd Dog in Pakistan.

The German Shepherd Dog Club of Pakistan was formed in 1980 after more than five decades of breeding GSDs under the auspices of firstly the Kennel Club of India, then the Kennel Club of Pakistan after partition. The GSD has established without doubt that it is the most popular breed on the sub-continent as it is in the rest of the world. The Club was formed to promote the breeding, keeping and training of the German Shepherd Dog along the lines of the ideals promoted by the Weltunion für Deutsche Schäferhunde Vereine (WUSV), which was formed as the extension of the European Union in 1976. The GSDCP became a full-fledged member of the WUSV in 1981 and has since then played a very active role in the affairs of the WUSV.

🇵🇰 A Proud First for Pakistan

The Official GSDCP App Is Now Available

The GSDCP app is now officially available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

This is a proud milestone for the German Shepherd Dog Club of Pakistan, a source of pride for the Kennel Club of Pakistan, and a significant achievement for Pakistan’s entire dog fraternity.

With this landmark achievement, GSDCP becomes the first national breed club globally to unite its publicly searchable official Stud Book, official show results and practical member services in one dedicated mobile app, available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Members, breeders, owners, handlers, exhibitors and German Shepherd Dog enthusiasts can now carry the club’s official records and services with them wherever they go.

Through the GSDCP app, users can:

- Search the official GSDCP Stud Book and registered dogs
- View dog profiles and four-generation pedigrees
- Browse registered kennels and active breeders
- View recent matings recorded with the club
- Follow GSDCP events, announcements and official show results
- Access breeder, ownership, health and show information from official club records
- Sign in securely for member services
- Submit event entries and request HD/ED appointments
- Access litter registration, ownership transfer, stud certificate and other supported club services

The app gives Pakistan’s German Shepherd Dog community a single official platform for records, pedigrees, results, events and member services.

This achievement rests upon decades of work by our members, breeders, officials, judges, exhibitors, handlers and volunteers. Every registered dog, pedigree, kennel record, show result and member entry represents the collective history of our club and the people who have served the breed in Pakistan.

The GSDCP app places that history in the hands of our members while preparing the club for the years ahead.

Designed and developed in Pakistan, this app shows what a Pakistani canine institution can achieve through accurate records, responsible administration and technology built for a clear purpose. It also reflects positively on the Kennel Club of Pakistan and the progress of organised canine activity in the country.

This milestone belongs to every GSDCP member. It is also a source of pride for the Kennel Club of Pakistan and for Pakistan’s dog fraternity, which can take pride in seeing a Pakistani breed club set a new international standard.

Mr. Imran Husain: Carrying Forward a Legacy of Service to the German Shepherd Dog

The history of the GSD breed in Pakistan cannot be written without acknowledging the contribution of Mr. Imran Husain.

As President of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Pakistan, Mr. Husain has given decades of service to the breed as a breeder, handler, judge, mentor, administrator, and international representative. His work has helped guide the development of the German Shepherd Dog in Pakistan with clear respect for correct type, sound structure, strong movement, stable temperament, and the international breed standard.

His service has also given Pakistan a respected voice at the highest level of the German Shepherd Dog community. Mr. Husain represented Pakistan and the GSDCP as a Director of the WUSV for three consecutive terms, serving for twelve years on the WUSV Board of Directors. This remains one of the proudest international distinctions for the GSDCP and for Pakistan’s German Shepherd Dog community.

Beyond the German Shepherd Dog, Mr. Husain is also a sought-after all-breed judge, with numerous judging assignments abroad to his credit. His knowledge, experience, and balanced judgment have earned him high respect within FCI and international canine circles, making him a personality of global acclaim in the canine fraternity.

In recognition of his lifelong work and dedication, Mr. Husain was also honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the WUSV. This honour carries special meaning for the GSDCP, as his late father, Mr. Muzaffar Husain, Founder of the German Shepherd Dog Club of Pakistan, was also a recipient of the same award.

Together, their names represent a family legacy built on service, knowledge, and commitment to the German Shepherd Dog. From the founding vision of Mr. Muzaffar Husain to the international representation and continued leadership of Mr. Imran Husain, the Husain family has played a central role in giving the breed structure, direction, and credibility in Pakistan.

For generations of breeders, owners, handlers, and exhibitors, Mr. Imran Husain has been a source of guidance and standard. His influence can be seen in the growth of specialist shows, the training of breed-minded fanciers, and the continued effort to keep Pakistan connected with the international German Shepherd Dog community.

The GSDCP is honoured to have a personality of Mr. Imran Husain’s stature leading the Club, and remains grateful for his lifelong contribution to the German Shepherd Dog in Pakistan.

A quality German Shepherd puppy should be chosen for sound structure, stable temperament, good health, and responsible breeding.

Before you decide, check the puppy’s pedigree and breeder details online at gsdcp.org.

Choose soundness. Build trust.

A German Shepherd Dog speaks through body language long before it barks.

From playful and relaxed to alert, protective, and defensive, every posture tells you something. Ears, eyes, tail, mouth, and stance all matter.

Learn to read the dog, not just look at the dog.

Eid-ul-Azha Mubarak from the German Shepherd Dog Club of Pakistan.

Wishing you and your families a blessed, peaceful, and meaningful Eid.
