Single Arm Bicep Curl

These resistance loop bands have been great. Using two different sizes to go “heavier” if I want to.

It may not seem that difficult but do you see how I use my feet to hold the bands down? It is also how I shorten the length of the band which helps increase tension which then makes it “heavier”. Can make it lighter or even do a dropset if I want to. There are plenty of variations!

This has also really help me with mind muscle connection, focusing on that peak contraction squeeze.

If you don’t have dumbbells at home and want to add weights, this is a great way!

Into conventional deadlifts. Going to working on getting the numbers up over the next few weeks. Though aiming to do 8 reps with a few more left in the tank.

The idea is to perform reps with absolutely good form. In order to improve my form I make videos and pick up on cues where I know I can/should improve.

Its not always about going heavy each time. I went heavy with my first set, couldn’t go beyond 4 reps with horrible form. Slashed the weight down and tried to do them right.

Can I do it better? Yes! I should be working on pushing my shoulders down more to get my back more flat. Also work a little on my initial lift off the ground and improve lockout.

Neglected a lot of lifts over the past few months. This being one of them! 3 sets of 10 reps with 5 more in the tank at 100kgs. No, these aren’t my best numbers.

Looking to get a gruelling leg workout in? You can this at the gym or at home.

Digression/Progression

Start off with 10 lunges (1R + 1L = 1Rep) immediately followed by 1 Squat Jump. Then 9 Lunges and 2 squat jumps...8 lunges and 3 squat jumps and so on till you get all the way down to 1 Lunge and 10 Squat Jumps.

You can use this as a finisher to your leg workout. Or you can make this into a killer stand alone leg workout by working your way back up and doing it twice!

It was tough and my bench numbers aren’t as good as they used to be.

Wide Stance Squats

Looking at the video now I am sure I could have gone a little lower. This stance in particular really gets my glutes fired up compared to the regular stance.
