🏸 National Junior Badminton Championship 2026 – Sukkur Visit

On the directives of Mr. Munawar Ali Mahesar, Secretary Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Sindh, a delegation of the Sindh Badminton Association (SBA) visited Sindh Sports Club Sukkur to review the preparations for the upcoming National Junior Badminton Championship 2026.

The SBA delegation included Ms. Saeeda Iftikhar, President Sindh Badminton Association; Mr. Farhan Ali Lashari, Secretary General; and Mr. Anwar Ul Huq, Treasurer.

During the visit, the delegation, along with the Sukkur Division Badminton Association, including Mr. Asad Sheikh, Secretary; Mr. Waqar, Treasurer; and Ms. Warda Asad, Coordinator, inspected the badminton hall, accommodation facilities, and other arrangements for the championship.

Mr. Ikhlaq Memon, DSO Sukkur & Administrator Sindh Sports Club Sukkur, briefed the delegation in detail about the ongoing preparations and arrangements. The delegation appreciated the efforts of the administration and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements being made for the championship.

The championship will bring together young badminton players from across Pakistan and provide them with an excellent platform to showcase their talent and compete at the national level.

🏸 SINDH JUNIOR RANKING BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 🏸

The Sindh Junior Ranking Badminton Championship 2026 concluded successfully with exciting and competitive matches featuring the young badminton talent of Sindh.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Ismail Shah, District Sports Officer Karachi East, along with the Guests of Honour Mr. Riaz Setho, Mr. Muhammad Yousuf, Mr. Samad Sheikh, International Women Badminton Players Sana Hanif and Saba Rasheed, Ms. Saeeda Iftikhar, President Sindh Badminton Association, Mr. Anwar-ul-Haq, President Karachi Badminton Association, and Mr. Farhan Ali Lashari, Secretary General Sindh Badminton Association, distributed trophies, medals and certificates among the winners and participants.

The Sindh Head Coaches, Mr. Harrison Brent and Mr. Akif, were also present and played an important role in the selection of talented players for the Sindh Team for the upcoming Junior National Badminton Championship 2026 in Sukkur.

The Junior National Boys & Girls Badminton Championship 2026 will be held from 18th to 22nd October 2026 in Sukkur, Sindh.
The championship is organized by the Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF) and hosted by the Sindh Badminton Association (SBA) in collaboration with the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh.
The event will bring together the youngest and most promising badminton players from across Pakistan, providing them with a national platform to showcase their talent, compete at the highest junior level, and contribute to the development of badminton in the country.
