79th Independence Day Badminton Tournament 2026

Dated: 18 August 2026

On the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan, the Larkana Badminton Association, in collaboration with the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, DSO Larkana organized a Girls’ Badminton Tournament at the Officers Club, Larkana.

The event was graced by Mr. Muzafar Ali Shah, ADC-I Larkana, who was honored as the Chief Guest. The event was also attended by Mr. Zafarullah Abbasi, Senior Vice President, Sindh Badminton Association, and Madam Aneela Abro, along with officials and representatives from various colleges and schools.

The tournament featured enthusiastic participation from young female badminton players. The team of GGDC Larkana delivered an impressive performance, securing the Winner position, while the Runner-Up team also displayed commendable sportsmanship and determination.

At the conclusion of the tournament, cups and certificates were presented to the winners and runners-up in recognition of their outstanding performances.

The event successfully celebrated Pakistan’s Independence Day while promoting sportsmanship, healthy competition, and the participation of girls in sports. 🇵🇰🏸
