Venue visit and preparation meeting for the BWF Air Badminton Championship 2026 Karachi was successfully conducted by Mr. Farhan Lashari, Secretary Sindh Badminton Association (SBA), Ms. Saeeda Iftikhar, President Sindh Badminton Association, and Mr. Hassan Imam, Coordinator Whales College.

The visit focused on reviewing the venue facilities, event arrangements, and overall preparations to ensure the successful organization of the prestigious championship in Karachi.

Sabhia Laghari Clinches Title at 1st All Karachi Pink Badminton Championship 2026
KARACHI – In a thrilling display of athleticism and spirit, Sabhia Laghari emerged victorious as the champion of the 1st All Karachi Pink Badminton Championship 2026. The tournament, which drew top talent from across the city, concluded with a high-stakes final that showcased Laghari’s exceptional skill and court coverage.

The closing ceremony was a celebratory affair, highlighting the growth of women's badminton in Karachi. The highlight of the evening was the trophy presentation, where the champion received her well-deserved accolade.

Ms. Saeeda Iftikhar, President of the Karachi Badminton Association (KBA), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. While presenting the winner’s trophy to Sabhia Laghari, Ms. Iftikhar praised the young athlete's dedication and the overall success of the "Pink" initiative, which aims to empower women through sports.
"Sabhia's victory is a testament to her hard work and the rising standard of badminton in our city. We remain committed to providing more platforms like the Pink Championship to nurture female talent," stated Ms. Saeeda Iftikhar during the ceremony.

Press Release: 1st All Karachi Pink Badminton Championship 2026

​The Karachi Badminton Association (KBA), in collaboration with the District Sports Officer (DSO) Central Karachi, successfully hosted the 1st All Karachi Pink Badminton Championship 2026. The event was a vibrant celebration of female athleticism, bringing together 50 talented players from across the city to compete in high-energy Singles and Doubles matches.
