All that County Cricket in England, all that “experience” in English conditions… and when it actually matters at Lord’s, 26 runs is all we get. 😂
So what exactly was the point of all those County matches?
If playing County Cricket was supposed to prepare Shan Masood for England, then England clearly didn’t get the memo. 😅🏏
Same old story — plenty of experience, very little impact when Pakistan actually needs it.

So the coaching staff didn't tell them... and apparently even Babar Azam forgot to tell the batters one simple thing:
"If it's on the 7th stump, just watch it go. Don't poke. Don't flirt. Just leave it." 😅🏏
Seems that basic lesson never made it to the dressing room.

Pakistan dropped Abdullah Shafique when they should've backed him.
Now that they've finally found a young opener in Azan Awais, it already feels like they'll drop him too.
How is an opening pair ever supposed to settle if every new batter is judged after one or two matches?
If Abdullah has already been dropped once, let him earn his way back instead of rushing him straight into the XI.
Give Azan Awais a proper run of a couple of series. He has already proved his talent in first-class cricket, and young players deserve patience before they're written off.
Pakistan don't just need talented openers—they need consistency in selection. Otherwise, we'll keep changing players... and keep getting the same results. 🏏🇵🇰

The only guy who looked like he was batting with intent, passion, and a desire to win the match instead of just securing his spot in the XI... got injured.
He still walked out to bat with a broken finger at No. 8.
And the rest? They seem more focused on protecting their place than changing the result.
Score 20, 25, or even 60, tick the "job done" box, and somehow the next match is guaranteed anyway.
At this point, Pakistan don't need a batting coach... they need a reality check.
West Indies won the Test. Pakistan lost much more than just a match. 🏏💔

We'd simply be writing, with regret: "If only he had batted like this in the first innings, the match situation could have been completely different."

When a batter scores 63 and says, “It was my day,” it tells you a lot about his mindset and batting approach.
A player thinking about big hundreds and match-defining innings usually isn't satisfied with 63. Calling it "my day" suggests that a fifty-plus score was the target all along.
Maybe that's exactly why some batters celebrate 63 as success, while great batters see it as a missed opportunity. 🏏😏
