“I learned how to use Word, Excel, and Canva, and most importantly, I learned to believe in myself.”

This is the impact of Imarah.

By equipping women with practical digital skills and the confidence to pursue their goals, Imarah is helping create new opportunities for growth, independence, and economic participation in Mehran Town.

At SEED Ventures, we believe that lasting change begins when individuals are given the tools, opportunities, and support to unlock their potential. Through community-driven initiatives like Imarah, we are working to create pathways for women to build skills, strengthen their confidence, and actively contribute to their families and communities.

Imarah is implemented by SEED Ventures in partnership with The COSARAF Charitable Foundation and with the support from Fahmida Begum Foundation and TeeSquare, to empower women through skills development, digital literacy, and economic inclusion.

SEED Ventures CEO, Shaista Ayesha, along with Business Development Manager, Samrah Qureshi, had a valuable meeting with Khurram Schehzad, Adviser to the Finance Minister, to discuss key reform-linked impact initiatives being led by the Ministry of Finance - Pakistan, including Zarkhez-e / Asaan Digital Zarai Qarza, Mera Ghar Mera Ashiana housing scheme, 2/3 Wheelers EV Adoption, the Pakistan Skills Impact Bond, and the Prime Minister’s Fan Replacement Programme, amongst others.

The discussion focused on how SEED Ventures can contribute meaningfully to national priorities within a broader ecosystem of economic reform, financial access, skills, energy efficiency, and inclusive growth.

What was particularly encouraging was the opportunity to reflect on how institutions like SEED can support the translation of policy direction into practical, citizen-facing pathways that create measurable value on the ground.

SEED Ventures also looks forward to collaborating closely with the government and relevant stakeholders to help strengthen the design, implementation, outreach, and impact measurement of such initiatives. Through its ecosystem-led approach, strategic partnerships, innovation platforms, and focus on inclusive development, SEED can support efforts aimed at expanding access, enabling sustainable financing models, accelerating adoption, and ensuring that these reforms translate into tangible socio-economic benefits for communities across Pakistan.

Grateful for the thoughtful exchange, guidance, and openness to explore where SEED’s experience and ecosystem approach can add value to these important initiatives.

What once began with hesitation has now transformed into confidence, clarity, and entrepreneurial thinking.

During assessment sessions under the IMARAH project, SEED Ventures team members Warisha Atiq and Gulbaz Khan evaluated enterprise development students on their understanding of business and enterprise-related terminologies, budgeting, and market concepts.

It was inspiring to witness young women confidently presenting their ideas, discussing revenue models, explaining budgeting concepts, and using business terminologies that once felt unfamiliar to them. Their growth reflects the power of opportunity, mentorship, and practical learning.

At SEED Ventures, we believe empowering women through enterprise development is not just about building businesses, it is about building confidence, independence, and future leaders.

We extend our sincere appreciation to The COSARAF Charitable Foundation, Fahmida Begum Foundation and TeeSquare for supporting this journey of growth and transformation.

Ms. Shaista Ayesha, CEO SEED Ventures and Partner Sustainadility, joined a panel at Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship on “Truth, Sovereignty & Global Disruption: Pakistan’s Strategic Role in a Changing World Order.”

In the discussion, she highlighted how crises don’t just disrupt, they reveal existing gaps in systems. From fuel shortages to supply chain challenges, the impact moves quickly across sectors and into everyday life.

She emphasized the need to move beyond reactive responses by identifying gaps early and investing in practical and sustainable solutions, with a focus on alternative approaches and changing everyday practices.

She also called on Pakistan’s youth, especially startups, entrepreneurs, and innovators, to step into these gaps with new ideas, highlighting the importance of staying agile in times of uncertainty.

At SEED, we continue to support solutions grounded in sustainability and long-term resilience.

We thank Millennium Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship for the invitation and for convening this important conversation.

At the WELD Programme, delivered in collaboration with KSBL, UNDP Pakistan, and the Planning and Development Department, Government of Sindh, Shaista Ayesha, CEO SEED Ventures & Partner Sustainadility, shared a candid reflection on leadership - one built not on moments of recognition, but on the discipline of showing up every day.

Drawing from her own journey, she spoke about navigating high-pressure environments, leading with intention, and embracing the human side of leadership. Her session highlighted that real progress often happens in the routines no one sees, reinforcing a leadership style that is consistent, values-driven, and quietly impactful.

As part of the WELD Sindh Chapter, which brings together women leaders to strengthen economic and financial leadership, her insights offered both perspective and motivation for building meaningful, long-term impact.

A reminder that leadership is not always visible, but it is always being built.
