Celebrate Independence Day -Bicycle Rally in Lahore

In celebration of Independence Day, the Pakistan Cycling Federation and the Punjab Cycling Association jointly organized a women’s and men’s bicycle rally in Lahore, in collaboration with the Pakistan Sports Board Coaching Center, Lahore.

Director of the Coaching Center, Ms. Norish Sabah, also actively participated in the rally by cycling alongside the competitors. The rally covered various routes across the city and concluded at the Cycling Velodrome.

As part of the Independence Day festivities, Punjab Cycling Secretary Ms. Maham Tariq ceremonially cut the Independence Day cake. Certificates of participation were also distributed by mis norish director coaching center lahore among all cyclists who took part in the race, marking a memorable conclusion to the event.

Pakistan Clinches Second Gold Medal at Asian Road Cycling Championship in Kazakhstan

Almaty, Kazakhstan - In a historic feat, Pakistan secured its second gold medal at the Asian Road Cycling Championship, with top cyclist Ali Alyas winning the Road Scratch Race today. This victory follows his groundbreaking achievement yesterday, where he earned Pakistan its first-ever gold medal in the sport of Cycling at the Asian level.

Ali Alyas completed a distance of 61.4 km in one hour and 26 minutes, showcasing his exceptional endurance and speed.

The championship, being in progress in Almaty, Kazakhstan, witnessed an impressive performance from Alyas, solidifying his status as a leading cyclist in the region. His back-to-back gold medals mark a significant milestone for Pakistani cycling on the international stage.

Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President of the Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF), congratulated Ali Alyas and the entire Pakistani team for their outstanding performance. He praised Alyas's dedication and skill, highlighting the significance of these victories for the sport in Pakistan.

Pakistan Cycling Team Clinches Historic Gold at Asian Road Cycling Championships

Ali Ilyas, representing the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), made history by winning the individual time trial event, marking a monumental victory for the Pakistan Cycling Federation.

Pakistan’s cycling Team won 10 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals in the 16th Special Olympics World Games, Berlin. It is a great honor that Director Admin and coach of National cycling academy Maham Tariq played Cycling Head coach role for this Special Olympics Pakistan. The Special Olympics World Games are the world's largest inclusive sports event. More than 180 countries were part of this event.
Maham Tariq is also UCI certified cycling coach of Pakistan Cycling federation and doing technical official of National Events. She joined Special Olympics Pakistan as a cycling coach in 2020. She said she feels very blessed and happy to work with these kids.The complete work group has put in its best attempt.
