Shaheen Shah Afridi became the first Pakistani bowler to complete 100 wickets in the ICC World Test Championship during the opening Test against the Bangladesh national cricket team at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The left-arm pacer reached the milestone after dismissing Mahmudul Hasan Joy, becoming only the 19th bowler overall to take 100 wickets in WTC history.

Nahid Rana, Jatinder Singh, and Ajay Kumar have been nominated for the International Cricket Council Men’s Player of the Month award for April 2026 following standout performances in ODI cricket.
Rana starred in Bangladesh’s series win over New Zealand, Jatinder impressed in Cricket World Cup League 2, while Ajay made an immediate impact for the UAE with nine wickets in his first two ODIs.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a three-match ODI series between the Pakistan national cricket team and the Australia national cricket team. Australia will arrive in Islamabad on May 23, with the first ODI scheduled at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30.
The remaining two matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium on June 2 and 4, respectively. The series marks Australia’s first ODI tour of Pakistan since 2022.
