Jacqueline Peychär is on her way back to top sports after her serious knee injury.
In addition to weekly training sessions with Nick Gold and national coach Heribert Monschein, the female athlete visited a training camp in Würzburg last week. In addition to sessions with former top player Simon Rösner, she was also able to compete with players from the German national team.
The return to PSA tournaments is planned for October/November. 😘😇

🇵🇭 Team Philippines, you made us proud!

A strong showing from our juniors at the 1st Taipei Junior Open 2026, with all four players gaining valuable international experience — and three finishing in the Top 8!

🥉 Lyra Kate Trasmil — 3rd place GU 13
Ashton Rain Medino — 5th place BU 13
Aliyah Gannaban - 6th place GU 15

And a notable achievement for Jas Cassiel Torres, who stepped onto the international stage for the first time ever and came away as the Plate Event Champion.

These results are more than just numbers on a scoreboard. They are a reflection of the hard work, courage and commitment these young athletes are putting in every day.

A Squash Ireland shout-out to Kilkenny City SC for recently holding an energetic women's social squash blitz on their two courts at St Kieran's College.

In between mini-matches of classic squash, the players from the home club and the visiting Carlow LTC tried out Squash57 with rackets and balls provided by Squash Ireland.

The mix of playing styles and the rally-lengthening range of traditional and 57mm balls had everyone on their toes and enjoying the innovation.

Women's numbers are growing at Kilkenny City SC, and it is through initiatives like this that women stay playing squash and new members come along to be part of the social energy.

The accessibility of Squash57 can complement traditional squash nicely within a club and can offer a mix of playing avenues for all ages and abilities.

Another fantastic weekend for Welsh Masters Squash, with the South Wales 50’s team becoming the 2026 Inter counties champions held at University of Warwick. The team won all their matches 2-1 playing against Yorkshire, Essex and Warwickshire. The team, fresh from competing in the recent Home Internationals played with grit and determination securing a well deserved first place.

You may have seen young Hunter out on court at junior practice recently, and what a great week he has just had!

Hunter proudly represented the South Coast team at the 2026 Queensland School Squash Championships in Cairns and did an amazing job across the entire event.
