What started as a ride turned into a full-blown race...
Bumbu pace, overcast skies, and nothing held back, just pure effort from the boys.

Low attendance again, but the early May mornings in Lahore are actually quite pleasant this time around. The boys made the most of it with fresh falsa juice at Hafiz Juice on Mall Road.

Slow recovery day. The boys were back on the saddle after a brutal hike over the weekend while some stayed in Lahore and did the Saturday Long haul.. Muscles were sore, so we kept it easy and opted for a light recovery ride.

Lahore saw heavy thunderstorms and strong winds last night. By morning, the skies had cleared, though the roads were still wet. The boys still decided to go for the loop, time to get over this post-rain phobia, lol.
Azeem, who’s visiting from Karachi, joined us again for another ride. Beautiful weather today. Met Cyclopedia at a coffee shop as well...

The boys did a recovery spin on the Mall Road loop and had an absolute ball out there. Made a quick juice stop at Hafiz Juice Corner, then looped through Lawrence where we bumped into the Cyclopedia. Threw in a few fun sprints, followed by a small Model Town loop to wrap things up.
Plenty of gup and shugal throughout, just one of those good days on the saddle.

The club long haul was called for Brb headworks and it never disappoints.
Good turnout overall and great to see Iqbal Sb and Co and then a pleasant surprise to bump into Supergirls smack at the brb.
En route Shez had a Tyre burst but thanks to Iqbal Sb the flat was immediately attended and it was back to business as usual.
Misbah and Elena who are managing Supergirls have got quite a thing going MashAllah as it was a rather large contingent enjoying this lovely countryside.
A few finished the proceedings at the much loved breakfast joint of ours, Aylanto and had some super gup shup. Numair also joined in and it was good catching up with him..

It’s getting crazy hot, and the AQI wasn’t helping either today. The boys headed out for a Thokar-Mall Road loop, with a refreshing stop at Hafiz Juice Corner along the way. Meanwhile, Muaz woke up a bit late but still got his miles in with a solid solo DHA loop.

Tuesday morning tempo with Ahsan joining in from Thokar. The boys went on to do a Beijing - Jinnah CBD loop. Overall, it turned out to be a lovely ride..

Boys kept it chill on a recovery ride on Beijing - Jinnah loop. Sun’s showing up earlier now, and it’s hitting harder too. Summer has officially arrived.

What a fantastic day with the Velo Boys!

The Government of Punjab organized a cycling race, and although none of us were prepared or had planned to participate, the boys decided to join in on the spot. Muaz, Sheraz, and Nosherwan showed great spirit by jumping into the race despite having low training and no prior preparation, with Muaz finishing in the leading peleton with the Pros.

To everyone’s surprise, they performed brilliantly and managed to stay with the first and second peloton throughout the ride. It was an amazing experience overall and a fantastic day out for the entire group.
The event was very well organized and fair, giving everyone a chance to participate and perform. We strongly urge the Government of Punjab to organize more such events so that cycling culture in Lahore can continue to grow and improve.
