The DASH dietπ₯ provides daily and weekly nutritional goals. The number of servings you should have depends on your daily calorie needs.
Here's a look at the recommended servings from each food group for a 2,000-calorie-a-day DASH diet π₯π₯:
Grains πΎπ½: 6 to 8 servings a day. One serving is one slice bread, 1 ounce dry cereal, or 1/2 cup cooked cereal, rice or pasta.
Vegetables π₯¬π₯¦π½π₯π«π«π₯: 4 to 5 servings a day. One serving is 1 cup raw leafy green vegetable, 1/2 cup cut-up raw or cooked vegetables, or 1/2 cup vegetable juice.
Fruits π
π₯₯π₯π₯π: 4 to 5 servings a day. One serving is one medium fruit, 1/2 cup fresh, frozen or canned fruit, or 1/2 cup fruit juice.
Fat-free or low-fat dairy products π₯: 2 to 3 servings a day. One serving is 1 cup milk or yogurt, or 1 1/2 ounces cheese.
Lean meats, poultry and fish ππ₯©π§: six 1-ounce servings or fewer a day. One serving is 1 ounce cooked meat, poultry or fish, or 1 egg.
Nuts, seeds and legumes: 4 to 5 servings a week. One serving is 1/3 cup nuts, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, 2 tablespoons seeds, or 1/2 cup cooked legumes (dried beans or peas).
Fats and oils π₯: 2 to 3 servings a day. One serving is 1 teaspoon soft margarine, 1 teaspoon vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise or 2 tablespoons salad dressing.
Sweets and added sugars: 5 servings or fewer a week. One serving is 1 tablespoon sugar, jelly or jam, 1/2 cup sorbet, or 1 cup lemonade.

"Common Endocrine Disorder"
1. Pituitary disorders:
The pituitary gland is often called the "master gland" because it produces hormones that regulate other glands in the endocrine system.
"Diabetes insipidus" is a condition in which the pituitary gland does not produce enough antidiuretic hormone (ADH), which regulates the body's water balance. This can lead to excessive thirst and urination.
2. Thyroid disorders: The thyroid gland produces hormones that regulate metabolism. Disorders of the thyroid gland can lead to either an overproduction or underproduction of thyroid hormones.
3. Adrenal disorders: The adrenal glands produce hormones that regulate the body's response to stress, among other functions. Disorders of the adrenal gland can lead to overproduction or underproduction of these hormones.
4. Parathyroid disorders: The parathyroid glands produce hormones that regulate calcium levels in the blood. Disorders of the parathyroid gland can lead to either an overproduction or underproduction of these hormones.
5. Adrenal cortex disorders:
Adrenal cortex disorders are medical conditions that affect the outer layer of the adrenal gland, which produces hormones that regulate various bodily functions. It includes Addison's and Cushing Syndrome.

Here are some tips for managing diabetes:
(1)Make healthy food choices: Eating a healthy and balanced diet is crucial for managing diabetes. Include plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats in your meals. Avoid sugary and processed foods, and limit your alcohol intake.
(2)Exercise regularly: Regular physical activity can help you manage your blood sugar levels, improve your overall health, and reduce the risk of complications. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise, such as brisk walking, most days of the week.
(3)Monitor your blood sugar levels: Regularly monitoring your blood sugar levels can help you understand how your body responds to different foods, activities, and medications. Work with your healthcare team to determine the best testing schedule for you.
(4)Take your medications as prescribed: If you have been prescribed medication to help manage your diabetes, take it as directed by your healthcare provider. Don't skip doses or change your dosage without consulting with your healthcare team.
