شریعت کی رو سے ہر انسان پر چار قسم کے حقوق عائد ہوتے ہیں: ایک خدا کے حقوق، دوسرے خود اس کے نفس اور جسم کے حقوق، تیسرے بندوں کے حقوق، چوتھے ان چیزوں کے حقوق جن کو خدا نے اس کے اختیار میں دیا ہے تاکہ وہ ان سے کام لے اور فائدہ اٹھائے۔ انہی چار حقوق کو سمجھنا اور ٹھیک ٹھیک ادا کرنا ایک سچے مسلمان کا فرض ہے۔ شریعت ان تمام حقوق کو الگ الگ بیان کرتی ہے اور ان کو ادا کرنے کے لیے ایسے طریقے مقرر کرتی ہے کہ ایک ساتھ سب حقوق ادا ہوں اور حتی الامکان کوئی حق تلف نہ ہونے پائے۔
