You might have lost but I LOVED the intent and the way you fought.
Small differences costed us match like not been able to play entire 50 overs and spare 20 balls which may have added another 20-25 runs easily. Gave away 21 precious extras by Pakistan Cricket Team, fielding was not too bad but missed couple of run outs might be luck was not with Pakistan and off course that LBW decision which may have gone either way but again we were not lucky enough 🥲. But I feel Nawaz is not a good bowler specially in pressure situations, Babar should have given it to Usama.

Overall a good game of cricket, SA is playing far better cricket so they deserved it.

Abrar has shown his skills in red ball cricket so the obsession with him can be understood. But why was Abrar never in your white ball plans before ?

If the management or captain was so sure of his abilities then why he wasn't considered before in any of the white ball competitions. Top teams are testing their bench strength , they have like to like replacements . They were sharpening skills of atleast 25-30 players to cover the injury scares.

What were we doing post 2019 ? Now suddenly we are throwing a raw talent in front of Highly competitive sides who never played a international white ball match before , just expecting Abrar to come up and do the magic suddenly on the biggest stage . Absurd .

What are these people of the board supposed to do ? They are taking millions just to manage and develop players but they are just sleeping. Your 3 backup Pacers are injured , you are still finding best combination and all this just 20 days before WC . Talent is there but this board is just serious for nothing .

Usama Mir is going to be the scapegoat now . Someone who was the man of the tournament in Pak Cup , best spinner in PSL , your best spinner in recent NZ series and did quite well in every T20 league , and now will be left out of the squad because suddenly you realize Abrar is the best spinner in the country . I wish he will be the best but that's not how it works. LQ is doing much better player development than PCB , crazy .
