We came, we saw, we survived the island!

A massive congratulations to everyone involved in our spine-chilling annual production of Lord of the Flies, 9th and 10th Feb., 2026. The conch was sounded, the stage was set, and what a phenomenal, thought-provoking showcase it turned out to be!

Bringing William Golding’s masterpiece to life is no easy feat, but our cast poured their hearts into these iconic roles and delivered mesmerizing performances:

Muhammad Furqan led the charge as the steadfast Ralph.

Abubakar Omer brought raw, unforgettable intensity as Jack, the beast!

Ebaad Rizwan captured the tragic brilliance and reason of Piggy.

Abdullah Shahab was hauntingly profound as the visionary Simon.

Hamza Rasool (Roger) gave a dominating performance that kept us all on the edge of our seats.

Haider Rasool (Maurice) brilliantly served as the comic relief.

The inseparable twins, Sam and Eric, were perfectly portrayed by Muhammad bin Saad and Mehryar Nawaz.

A huge shoutout to the rest of the boys on the island who added incredible depth to the tribe: Sharjeel Yazdani (Bill), Azfar Umer (Henry), and Mustafa Shehzad (Percival).

And finally, Muslim Abbas anchored us all back to reality as the rescuing Officer, not only onstage but also behind the scenes.

The play was Directed by Muhammad Yahya Cheema, with Assistant Director Ali Shahwaiz who also served as the Art Designer for the sets. Music was performed live by Niaz Hunzai and Ali Shahwaiz. The eerie and captivating island ambiance was flawlessly executed by Ahmad Bilal on Lights and Anas Ameer on Sound.

We also want to give special recognition to the forces behind the scenes: President Ayaan Habib and Coach Hashir Ali of the JT Illusionists, for unwavering support and leadership throughout this journey.

None of this would have been possible without the immense support and encouragement from our administration. A very special thank you to LGS Director Mrs. Samina Rahman and our Principal Ms. Faiqa Afzal for continuing to foster a space where theatrical arts and student creativity can truly thrive.

Our gratitude to every single person in the audience who came out to watch and support us! The conch may be shattered, but the memories of this production will last a lifetime. 🎭🐚
