Calories matter for weight loss… but protein determines what you lose. 💪🥚

If you’re trying to lose weight, don’t just focus on eating less—focus on eating enough protein too.

Protein is broken down into amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair muscles, make hormones, produce enzymes, support your immune system, and maintain healthy skin.

That’s why two people eating the same number of calories can end up with different body composition depending on their protein intake and activity.

✨ Remember:
✔️ Protein helps preserve muscle during weight loss.
✔️ It keeps you feeling full for longer.
✔️ It requires more energy to digest than carbohydrates and fats (higher thermic effect of food).

This is the science behind why protein is so important!

💬 Comment “PROTEIN” if you want Part 2, where I’ll show you how to hit your protein target with a normal Desi diet—no expensive supplements needed.

Have you ever lost weight… only to gain it back again?

The truth is, it’s not always about a lack of willpower. Science shows that after weight loss, your body can increase hunger, reduce feelings of fullness, and slow down energy expenditure—making weight maintenance much more challenging.

The good news? Your body can adapt in a healthier direction with consistent, sustainable habits.

The biggest secret to keeping weight off isn’t the perfect diet—it’s building habits you can actually stick with.

Crash diets may give fast results, but long-term success comes from eating enough protein, staying active, sleeping well, and being consistent—not perfect.

Remember: Your goal isn’t to lose weight for 30 days. Your goal is to build a lifestyle you can enjoy for years.

🚨 Stop searching for “foods that increase progesterone”… and start asking the right question!

Did you know that progesterone isn’t made from a specific food? 🤯

Science shows that progesterone is mainly produced by the corpus luteum, a temporary gland that forms only after ovulation. If ovulation doesn’t happen normally, progesterone production can also be affected.

In this video, I explain:
✅ Where progesterone actually comes from
✅ Why food alone isn’t the answer
✅ The truth about flaxseeds and progesterone
✅ Why understanding ovulation is the key to understanding progesterone

⚠️ This video is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice. If you have irregular periods, fertility concerns, or symptoms that worry you, speak with a qualified healthcare professional.

💬 Comment “OVULATION” if you want Part 2, where I’ll explain how ovulation happens, what can affect it, and how to support a healthy menstrual cycle with science—not myths.

🔥 Did you know that the way you cook your food may affect more than just its taste?

When protein-rich foods like eggs, chicken, and meat are cooked at very high temperatures, compounds called AGEs (Advanced Glycation End Products) can form. Research suggests that excessive AGEs may contribute to oxidative stress and inflammation in the body, which are linked to accelerated aging and various chronic health conditions.

The good news? You don’t have to stop eating these foods.

✅ Choose boiling, poaching, steaming, or gentle scrambling more often.
✅ Avoid excessive charring and burning.
✅ Cook smarter, not hotter.

Remember: It’s not just what you eat—it’s how you cook it that matters.

🚨 What if your lower belly isn’t actually fat?

Most people blame body fat when their stomach sticks out. But sometimes the real culprit is something called Anterior Pelvic Tilt.

When your hip flexors become tight from too much sitting, they can pull your pelvis forward. This increases the arch in your lower back and pushes your stomach outward, making your belly look bigger than it actually is.

The science? Tight iliopsoas muscles, weak glutes, and a weak Transverse Abdominis (deep core muscle) can change your posture and affect how your midsection looks.

That’s why endless crunches don’t always solve the problem.

Fix the posture. Strengthen the deep core. Improve pelvic alignment.

Your belly may look flatter without losing a single kilo. 🔥

🚨 What if I told you that the nutrient most people blame for weight gain is actually your body’s preferred source of energy?

Carbs have been unfairly labeled as the enemy of fat loss, but science tells a different story.

When you eat carbs, your body breaks them down into glucose. That glucose enters your cells and is converted into ATP—the energy currency that powers every movement, every workout, every thought, and even every heartbeat. ⚡

Your muscles also store extra glucose as glycogen, which acts like a backup battery. During exercise, especially high-intensity workouts, your body relies heavily on glycogen because it can provide energy much faster than fat.

So, carbs don’t automatically make you gain weight.

The real issue is consistently consuming more calories than your body needs—not carbs themselves.

Instead of fearing carbs, focus on choosing quality sources like fruits, oats, potatoes, legumes, and whole grains while keeping your overall nutrition balanced. 💪

Does salt really cause water retention? 🤔

The truth is, both too much sodium and too little sodium can affect how your body manages fluids. When electrolytes are out of balance, your body may hold onto water, leading to bloating and puffiness.

A simple drink with water, a pinch of pink salt, and lemon can help support hydration and electrolyte balance. 💧🍋
