An avalanche came down from Lho La Pass today morning resulting in huge snow powder clouds that covered almost half of the Everest Basecamp.

Luckily it didn’t cause any harm and situation settled down shortly.

A Pakistani-American physician and high-altitude mountaineer, Shehla has already stood atop Kangchenjunga. Her next goal is the highest point on earth — Mount Everest, In Sha Allah, in April 2026.

This expedition is not about records alone.
It is about representation and purpose.
It is about discipline and faith.
It is about showing that ambition does not fade with age or distance.

From training in the USA to preparation in Pakistan and onward to Nepal, we will be sharing this journey step by step — the effort, the emotions and the moments that shape a climber long before summit day.
