India enter the Asia Cup with a balanced and a high-potential squad, but notably without Virat Kohli, a player who has repeatedly delivered in high-pressure moments against Pakistan.
His absence could be the opening Pakistan look to capitalize on....
No doubt Sufiyan Muqeem has talent. But right now, he's bowling quickly with a stretched length. His lack of control is a concern. When he tries to give it flight, it often turns into a full toss or a half-volley.
Needs improvement or he could find himself sidelined.
The T20I series ends with Pakistan winning 2-1.
Saim Ayub could’ve easily been Player of the Series: 2 fifties + 5 wickets in 3 games.
Nawaz took 7 wickets, but Saim’s all-round impact arguably felt greater.
India's persistence with Prasidh Krishna is baffling. He struggled to find rhythm throughout the series.
Arshdeep Singh offers more control and can move it both ways. He was the more sensible choice all along (for the 5th Test).

Archer struck early, bowling with furious pace. It lit up Stokes, who charged in for long, wholehearted spells to support him.
Jofra removed Pant and Sundar, Stokes got Rahul, and India were left with a long pursuit.

Liam Dawson’s recall to the Test side after 8 years is well-deserved.
Slightly overdue, but he adds value with bat and ball, fitting England’s current Test setup. They’d do well to keep him in the mix for the WTC 2025–27 cycle.

The 2019 World Cup Final leaves a bitter mark.
An erroneous 6 runs were awarded off an overthrow (actually 5 by law).
No provision for umpires to consult TV replay, keeping Stokes on strike, not bringing Rashid, and leaving 3 off 2 when it should've been 4.
A costly lapse.

Time to reconsider the powers of umpires.
If on-field umpires believe the third umpire has erred - as visible on the big screen - they should be allowed to intervene.
Recently hope's dismissal & Saud Shakeel's in 2022 - both were grounded, yet neither was even given the benefit of the doubt.
An absolute pleasure to watch Shamar Joseph bowl in Bridgetown.
