I am a certified trainer and nutritionist, not very active on Facebook, but you can find me on Instagram and become a part of a beautiful community.

The best training plan may be the one that knows when to ask less of you.

Every year, usually during winter, I reduce my training for a few weeks. I do not stop strength training. I shift into maintenance with lighter weights, lower volume and two or three sessions a week.

Training for almost a decade has taught me that rest belongs inside the programme too.
This year, that maintenance month became something else.

I had the privilege, energy and friends willing to pull me out of the house to explore things I had wanted to try for years. Yoga. Pilates. Swimming. Sound work. Massage. Deliberate recovery. Good food. Beauty appointments. Time with people I love.

It quietly became a mini staycation and another layer of a question I have been studying for roughly a year and a half:

What is the optimum combination of strength training, Pilates, yoga, swimming, cardio, mobility and recovery for a woman’s actual body and her actual life?

Strength training is still my foundation. It builds muscle, improves strength and helps preserve physical independence.
But a foundation is not the whole architecture.

For one client, the right week might centre on three carefully programmed strength sessions. For someone managing a back issue, joint irritation or limited mobility, it might also include swimming, yoga, rehabilitation or lower impact cardio, depending on her symptoms, goals, recovery and medical guidance.

That is what I keep reading about, testing and observing. Not which form of movement is “best,” but which combination is most useful for the person in front of me.

Not everything in this carousel was an intervention. Some of it was pleasure, friendship and simply having the privilege to rest.

Maybe this becomes a formal research paper one day. For now, I am using what I learn about strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, rehabilitation and recovery to programme more intelligently.

My training focuses on holistic health (strength, rehabilitation and nutrition). If your body needs more thought than another generic workout template, DM me to check for available training slots.

Am I training clients or have slots available?

People keep asking me if I am still training clients and if I have slots available.

The short answer is yes, I am. Time is just scarce, and I choose to spend it where I grow intellectually and where my help is actually needed.

After my masters, I work in tech, I teach some of it as well.

But I kept training clients too. Somewhere in there though, the kind of clients shifted. Doctors and gynecologists started referring me the harder cases. PCOS. Fertility. Injuries. The cases where someone actually needs you to read into it, not hand them a template.

That takes time. More time than posting ever did.

I used to be very active with transformations and progress pics. Then I wasn’t. But going quiet online was never the same as going quiet in the gym. I trained through ALL of it. Even the weeks I fell off, I came back. That is the one thing that has never moved. And it is the same thing I tell every client. It was never about never missing a day. It is about coming back to it.

This has always been a passion project for me. Not a numbers or a $ game. I do this because I like helping people who actually want to be helped. And because most days I would rather read another study than film another transformation.

SO, same me. Just been busy reading instead of posting.

If you genuinely want help (from anywhere in the world) and nothing has worked for you, reach out. If I have slots available, I would love to help you.

There’s no magic pill. Somebody just needs to nerd out and actually study you.

This part breaks me apart every Muharram. May we never experience such helplessness, and if we witness it then we stop it, and may those who make others feel this helpless meet their rightful end.
