Beaconhouse Sports Complex

An excellent show of horsemanship was displayed by our student and parent riders at Riding Gala 2022 held on 12 March, 2022!!! This has become a prized feature of the Beaconhouse Sports community. The response was phenomenal as usual and everyone participated wholeheartedly.
We were honoured by the presence of Mr. Majid Ali Qureshi, Regional Director, Central Region as the Chief Guest. He surprised the audience by displaying his superb equestrian skills while participating in one of the events. All in all it was an event worth remembering!!!

Sports Day of LMA Wapda Town was organised at Beaconhouse Sports Complex on 9 December 2021. The young ones took part in different activities and showed how talented they are. A pictorial glimpse of the event is shared here.

Today the young ones of Newlands Nursery & Pre Nursing visited sports complex for their picnic party. They thoroughly enjoyed their stay by playing different games along with ride on our dasi Peshawari Tonga. A few glimpses of this memorable event are shared here.

Season’s first Ride Out!!!!!🐎🐎🐎🐎

New student riders, new horses, new horse handlers!

On the bright, sunny and chilly Saturday morning of 27th November 21, in our cross country ride out, there were a lot of new additions. Riders galloped across the green fields adjacent to the Sports Club. The calm and practiced poise of the riders was complimented by the feisty excitement of their steeds. The ride out culminated with the customary Desi Breakfast back at the Riding Club. Here are some pictures of the day.

BCR League 2021 has started at SCB after a long Covid Break. Boys and girls teams of sister branches of BSS are taking part in Futsal and Basketball matches. The event is hosted by Newlands Sports Department. Some glimpses of the first day are shared here.

RIDING CLUB IS 9 YEARS STRONG TODAY 🎂🎂
It seems like yesterday when Mrs. Nasreen Mehmood Kasuri, Chairperson Beaconhouse School System, inaugurated Beaconhouse Riding Club on 18 October 2012. The first ever Silver Oak tree, so lovingly planted by her in front of my office lawn is a reminder of how much we have grown in these past nine years. Her constant support and encouragement has been instrumental in bringing the Horse Riding Club🏇 to its present standing. We bow our heads humbly in paying gratitude to Allah Who has allowed us to achieve this success and pray for the same in future.
I take this opportunity in thanking our student riders, their parents, the Newlands faculty and Regional & Head Office Staff for helping and supporting us throughout these years.
Here I must appreciate and praise my staff at Sports Complex Bedian (SCB) which has been my strength through thick and thin.
Together, we look forward to many more years of joyful riding, Breakfast Ride outs and Annual Riding Galas with you all!
