After winning on penalties, they taunted us, making inappropriate gestures in our faces. It's understandable we lost, but celebrating in our faces made everyone react.

It should've ended there, but they didn't stop. They came to our bench, tauntingly offering handshakes. We declined, but they persisted, making gestures and screaming loudly.

This happened in front of the former national football team captain, who was coaching our team.

مگر جب وہ پینالٹیوں میں جیت گئے، تو ہماری طرف سے دشمنانہ رویہ اختیار کرتے ہوئے، بے انتہا اناجانے حرکات کرنے لگے۔ ہمارے ہارنے کی سمجھ میں آتا ہے، مگر ہمارے سامنے جشن منانے سے سب ردعمل ظاہر کریں گے۔
یہاں ختم ہونا چاہئے تھا، مگر وہ وہاں رکے نہیں۔ وہ ہماری بینچ پر آئے، طنزیہ طور پر ہاتھ ملانے کی پیشکش کی۔ ہم نے ان کو کہا کہ براہ کرم جائیں، ہم مصافحہ نہیں کرنا چاہتے، مگر وہ نہیں رکے، اور انہوں نے دوبارہ اشارے دکھانے اور بلند آواز میں چیخنے شروع کر دی۔
یہ سب اس وقت ہوا جب ملک کے سابق قومی فٹ بال ٹیم کا کپتان، جو ہماری ٹیم کو کوچ کر رہے تھے، موجود تھے۔
