BNU shines at "Khelta Punjab Badminton Tournament"

Congratulations to Abdul Rehman Ijaz from the Department of Hospitality Management for securing 2nd place in the "Khelta Punjab" District-Level Badminton Tournament at Rahim Yar Khan! 🏆🏸

BNU HOSTED FUTSAL TOURNAMENT IN LAHORE YOUTH FESTIVAL 2024
The Beaconhouse National University, BNU proudly opened its fields for hosting the Futsal tournament in Lahore Youth Festival 2024. A total of 16 Futsal teams (boys & girls) participated in the tournament including GCU, FCCU, LSE, UCL, LCWU, Fazaia College, UOL, COMSATS, LEADS, Hailey College, PU, UMT, AIMC, Bahria University, Riphah International University and BNU.
The three-day event (Oct 22 - Oct 24, 2024) was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, BNU. Dr. Moeed. W. Yusuf. The university buzzed with excitement as teams battled it out in the Futsal Tournament! Players showcased incredible skill and teamwork, thrilling spectators with nail-biting matches.
After three days of intense competition, Lahore School of Economics (LSE) boys Futsal team and University of Lahore (UOL) girls Futsal team clinched the championship title, while FCCU boys Futsal team and LCWU girls Futsal team took home the runner-up honors.

The former Pakistani International Cricketer, Mr. Azhar Ali, who has served as the captain for ODI and Test formats, visited BNU to discuss various future prospects for setting up training camps for our cricket team.
The captains of the BNU Cricket team, Faizan Tahir & Mehak Batool, received Mr. Azhar Ali. The students briefed him about the BNU cricket team's performance in various intravarsity and intervarsity tournaments.

In recognition of their outstanding performance and achievements in the Football, Syed Ali Hussain and Shayan Taqi were presented with the excellence awards. The VC praised the students for their unwavering commitment, dedication, and sportsmanship in bringing fame to Football at BNU.

Interdepartmental Futsal Tournament, BNU

The Interdepartmental Futsal Tournament organized by the BNU Sports Club led to the participation of 8 teams from across all the schools of BNU. All the teams displayed tremendous sportsmanship. The finale was played between the SMC & SCIT Futsal teams. After a sensational match, the Futsal team of SCIT was declared as champions of the tournament.

Our proud girls clinched 1st prize in the Badminton & Arm wrestling categories at FCCU Sports Fest'2024.

The Vice-Chancellor appreciating the BNU Football team for securing 6th position in the All Pakistan HEC Football Championship.

Sharing the highlights from BNU BELYMPIAN 2.0 (May 9-11, 2024)...

The second edition of the multicategory interuniversity sports event, BNU BELYMPIAN 2.0, emerged to be a highly energy-packed event with the participation of over 800 sportsmen and sportswomen from different renowned institutions of Lahore, including FCCU, LSE, FAST, COMSATS, RIPHAH International, Minhaj University, CMH, UCL and BNU.
In Cricket, the FCCU team won the finals against BNU. The Football team of LSE beat FCCU in the thrilling finals. In Basketball, the male & female teams of FCCU marked their victories beating FAST & Minhaj Universities. In the Badminton males category, the LSE players exhibited exceptional performance, winning against the FAST university. In the Badminton females category, the BNU girls concluded the finals with victory beating the FCCU team.
In the Table tennis males category, FAST University won the finals, and in the females category, FCCU girls won the finals. The male and female Volleyball teams of FCCU won with flying colors. The Throwball match was also won by FCCU.
With so many remarkable victories, the best delegation award was presented to the FCCU champions.

The BNU students have marked victory in Badminton and Arm Wrestling at FCCU Olympiad.
In the badminton (Doubles category), our proud student, Mahnoor Shafiq has won the 1st prize.
In arm wrestling, Wajeeha and Alyan Bukhari have stood winner and runner-up respectively, making us immensely proud.
