لاہور: ماڈل ٹاؤن ویمن فٹبال کلب اور ماڈل ٹاؤن فٹبال اکیڈمی (MTFA) کی ہونہار کھلاڑی صابرہ علی کی دبئی سے پاکستان واپسی پر ان کے اعزاز میں ایک پروقار استقبالیہ تقریب منعقد کی گئی۔ تقریب میں کھلاڑیوں، والدین، کوچز اور اکیڈمی انتظامیہ نے بھرپور انداز میں ان کا استقبال کیا اور ان کی بین الاقوامی کامیابیوں پر مبارکباد پیش کی۔
صابرہ علی نے الاہلی کلب دبئی کی نمائندگی کرتے ہوئے شاندار کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کیا، جہاں وہ فیفا دوحہ لیگ 2026 کی ٹاپ اسکورر رہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ وہ 2023، 2024 اور 2025 میں مسلسل تین مرتبہ بہترین کھلاڑی (Best Player) کا اعزاز حاصل کر چکی ہیں۔ مختلف بڑے ٹورنامنٹس میں میچ کی بہترین کھلاڑی (MVP) قرار پائیں اور لیگ و کپ مقابلوں میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرتے ہوئے اپنی ٹیم کو اہم کامیابیاں دلوائیں۔
استقبالیہ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے چیئرپرسن ماڈل ٹاؤن فٹبال اکیڈمی (MTFA) مسز فوزیہ رضوان نے کہا:
"صابرہ علی صرف تین سال کی عمر میں ماڈل ٹاؤن فٹبال اکیڈمی کا حصہ بنی تھیں۔ ان کی محنت، لگن اور سیکھنے کی خواہش ہمیشہ مثالی رہی۔ آج انہیں بین الاقوامی سطح پر کامیابیاں حاصل کرتے دیکھ کر ہمیں بے حد فخر ہے۔ صابرہ علی نے نہ صرف ماڈل ٹاؤن ویمن فٹبال کلب اور ماڈل ٹاؤن فٹبال اکیڈمی (MTFA) بلکہ پورے پاکستان کا نام بھی روشن کیا ہے۔"
میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے صابرہ علی نے کہا:
"میری کامیابی کا آغاز ماڈل ٹاؤن فٹبال اکیڈمی (MTFA) اور ماڈل ٹاؤن ویمن فٹبال کلب سے ہوا۔ میں اپنے تمام کوچز، مسز فوزیہ رضوان، اکیڈمی انتظامیہ اور اپنے والدین کی شکر گزار ہوں جنہوں نے ہر قدم پر میری رہنمائی کی۔ آج میں جہاں بھی ہوں، اس کی بنیاد میری اپنی اکیڈمی ہے، اور میری خواہش ہے کہ مستقبل میں بھی پاکستان، ماڈل ٹاؤن ویمن فٹبال کلب اور ماڈل ٹاؤن فٹبال اکیڈمی کا نام مزید روشن کروں۔"
تقریب کے اختتام پر صابرہ علی کو یادگاری شیلڈ پیش کی گئی جبکہ شرکاء نے ان کی آئندہ کامیابیوں کے لیے نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا۔ ماڈل ٹاؤن ویمن فٹبال کلب اور ماڈل ٹاؤن فٹبال اکیڈمی (MTFA) نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا کہ وہ نوجوان کھلاڑیوں کو عالمی معیار کی تربیت فراہم کرتے رہیں گے تاکہ مزید پاکستانی ٹیلنٹ بین الاقوامی سطح پر ملک کا نام روشن کریں۔

Grand Reception Held for Sabra Ali at Model Town Women Football Club and Model Town Football Academy (MTFA)
Lahore: A grand reception was organized by Model Town Women Football Club (MTWFC) and Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) to honor their outstanding player Sabra Ali upon her return to Pakistan from Dubai. The event was attended by players, parents, coaches, academy officials, and well-wishers, who warmly welcomed her and celebrated her remarkable international achievements.
Representing Al Ahly Club Dubai, Sabra Ali delivered exceptional performances and became the Top Scorer in the FIFA Doha League 2026. She also earned the Best Player Award for three consecutive years (2023, 2024, and 2025). In addition, she was named Match MVP in several major tournaments and played a key role in her team's league and cup victories, bringing great pride to both Model Town Women Football Club and Model Town Football Academy (MTFA).
Addressing the media, Mrs. Fouzia Rizwan, Chairperson of Model Town Football Academy (MTFA), said:
"Sabra Ali joined Model Town Football Academy when she was only three years old. From a very young age, she showed exceptional passion, discipline, and determination. Today, seeing her succeed on the international stage is a proud moment for all of us. She has brought great honor not only to Model Town Women Football Club and Model Town Football Academy (MTFA), but also to Pakistan. We wish her continued success in her football career."
Speaking to the media, Sabra Ali said:
"My football journey began at Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) and Model Town Women Football Club. I sincerely thank my coaches, Mrs. Fouzia Rizwan, the academy management, and my parents for believing in me and supporting me throughout my journey. Everything I have achieved today is because of the strong foundation I received at my academy. I will continue working hard to make Pakistan, Model Town Women Football Club, and Model Town Football Academy proud on the international stage."
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Sabra Ali was presented with a commemorative shield in recognition of her outstanding achievements. Model Town Women Football Club and Model Town Football Academy (MTFA) reaffirmed their commitment to developing young football talent and providing quality training to help more Pakistani players achieve success at the international level.
