وزیراعلیٰ خیبرپختونخوا کے مشیر برائے کھیل و امور نوجوانان تاج محمد ترند نے ڈائریکٹر جنرل کھیل تاشفین حیدر کے ہمراہ گزشتہ روز حیات آباد سپورٹس کمپلیکس اور حیات آباد کرکٹ گراؤنڈ کا دورہ کیا۔اس موقع پر ایڈمنسٹریٹر سپورٹس کمپلیکس عابد آفریدی نے مشیر وزیراعلیٰ کو اسپورٹس کمپلیکس میں مختلف کھیلوں کی سہولیات سے متعلق تفصیلی بریفنگ دی۔ انہوں نے مشیر کو سکواش کورٹ، مارشل آرٹس، تائیکوانڈو ہال، سوئمنگ پول، خواتین کے لیے اسٹیٹ آف دی آرٹ جم، جمناسٹک ہال اور دیگر سہولیات کا معائنہ کرایا۔ایڈمنسٹریٹر نے بتایا کہ خواتین کے لیے 20 کروڑ روپے کی لاگت سے جدید جم تعمیر کیا گیا ہے جس میں خواتین ٹرینرز تعینات کی گئی ہیں، جبکہ واکنگ ٹریک کو بھی ازسرنو تعمیر کیا جائے گا ،مشیر وزیراعلیٰ تاج محمد ترند نے حیات آباد سپورٹس کمپلیکس میں نوجوان کھلاڑیوں کے لیے دستیاب سہولیات پر اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ صوبائی حکومت نوجوانوں اور خواتین دونوں کو کھیلوں کے یکساں مواقع فراہم کرنے کے لیے پرعزم ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ خیبرپختونخوا کے نوجوان بے پناہ ٹیلنٹ کے حامل ہیں جنہوں نے مختلف قومی و بین الاقوامی مقابلوں میں پاکستان کا نام روشن کیا ہے۔تاج محمد ترند نے اس موقع پر کہا کہ صوبائی حکومت بانی چیئرمین عمران خان کے ویژن کے مطابق صوبے میں کھیلوں کے فروغ، انفراسٹرکچر کی ترقی اور نئے ٹیلنٹ کی تلاش کے لیے مربوط اقدامات کر رہی ہے۔مشیر وزیراعلیٰ نے حیات آباد کرکٹ گراؤنڈ کا بھی دورہ کیا، جہاں انہوں نے زیر تربیت نوجوان کھلاڑیوں اور ان کے کوچز سے ملاقات کی۔ انہوں نے نوجوان کھلاڑیوں کی حوصلہ افزائی کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وہ کھیل کے ساتھ ساتھ تعلیم پر بھی بھرپور توجہ دیں،انہوں نے متعلقہ حکام کو ہدایت کی کہ کرکٹ گراؤنڈ میں باقی ماندہ کام کو جلد از جلد مکمل کیا جائے.
