Going by Matheus Cunha’s stats this season having 23 appearances and 4 from the bench, he has registered just 6 goals and 2 assists. Based on the expectations around him that return places him in a below-par bracket.

He has recently picked up form since Carrick’s arrival and that deserves credit. But too often he seems busy with the ball without being decisive. There are moments where he takes unnecessary touches that slow down counters and reduce forward productivity.

I love this Amad guy so much because even without the goals and assists he’s an integral part of the team.

But I’m going to keep it a buck and I’m sure some of you share my sentiment, he needs to start being decisive and contributing to the goals and assists.

He’s an attacker and expecting attacking returns from him is not us asking for too much contrary to what some United fans.

Manchester United standards have risen to the point that a draw feels like a loss.
