The decision to drop Babar Azam from the T20I side is not supported by the stats.

In his last 15 T20I innings, he scored 469 runs at an average of 33.50 and a strike rate of 131, including three fifties. His form was actually improving, with his final match yielding 31 runs off 20 balls (SR 155).

His recent performance was better than most of the current squad, making his removal illogical. PCB must reverse this decision and reinstate him with Saim Ayub as opener—a partnership that benefits both players and the team.

Haris, Fakhar Zaman, Salman ali agha, Fahim ashraf (All have average of 20 and strike rate 120) in team but not Babar and Rizwan.

Playing T20s since 9 years. Played 11 matches against india still failed to deliver. He is most senior player team yet no performance in crucial moment since 2021. Always escapes the criticism. Failed completely in each T20i tournament. Other players crumbled under high pressure but he is playing 11th match against india still cant score. Going ahead in the tournament if he again fails in super4. He should be dropped from T20s completely.

He can be very effective too in ODI as well. He is consisting and technically strong player.
