Proud moment
Abdul Mueed Baloch, often known as Baloch Bolt, a Pakistani sprinter, has made Pakistan proud by earning a silver medal at the Imam Reza Cup in Mashhad, Iran.
On Sunday, Mueed earned the bronze medal in the 400m event, crossing the finish line in 46.73 seconds, a new men's national record for Pakistan in the event.
Yasir Al-Saadi of Iraq won the gold medal in the race, clocking 46.33 seconds.
Mueed will compete in the 200m race today, it should be emphasised.
Mueed had already won bronze medals in the South Asian Games 4 x 400 relay at the South Asian Junior Athletics Championship. He also won a silver medal in the 4 x 100 metre relay.
