President Inam-ul-Haq Khan, Secretary General Misbah Naz, Senior Vice President Muhammad Nauman and other PBDHF officials met with DG Pakistan Sports Board Mr. Yawar Hussain and Deputy DG Mr. Shahid to discuss the progress of Ball & Dek Hockey and Pakistan’s upcoming Asia Cup 2026 participation in Thailand.

Souvenirs were also presented to the distinguished officials as a token of appreciation.

DG Pakistan Sports Board Visits Pakistan Ball & Dek Hockey Training Camp

Islamabad, August 18, 2026: Director General Pakistan Sports Board, Mr. Yawar Hussain, visited the national training camp of the Pakistan Ball & Dek Hockey team in preparation for the Asia Cup 2026. He met the players and observed their training session.

A practice match between Pakistan Green and Pakistan White ended in a competitive 0–0 draw.

Deputy DG Mr. Shahid also accompanied the visit. The occasion was attended by President Inam Ul Haq, Secretary General Misbah Naz, Senior Vice President Muhammad Nauman, Director Women Memoona Nauman, and Director Hira.

Secretary General Misbah Naz briefed the DG on the team’s preparations and training camp progress.

The Asia Cup 2026 will feature Pakistan, India, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Nepal, and will be held on 11–13 September 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The visit reflects the Pakistan Sports Board’s continued support for the development of Ball & Dek Hockey and Pakistan’s national team.
