Waseem Ahmad is one of the brightest former Pakistani hockey players, known for his exceptional skills in the left-half position. Born in Vehari, Punjab, on April 10, 1977, Waseem achieved significant success with the national team.

Waseem played a pivotal role when Pakistan won the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, defeating Malaysia in the final to lift the trophy.

2012 Doha Asian Champions Trophy Winner*
Two years later, Waseem helped Pakistan secure another gold medal at the 2012 Doha Asian Champions Trophy. In a thrilling match against India, Pakistan emerged victorious with a 5-4 win at the Al-Rayan Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
