Batting first, Friends CC posted an impressive 292 runs in their 35 overs, with outstanding contributions from Faisal Ashraf (82), Asad (79), and Masood Ahmad (56).

Town Star CC responded with an aggressive run chase and reached 293/6 in just 31.4 overs. Ikram Joyia led the charge with a brilliant 81 off 54 balls, while Zain-ul-Abdin remained unbeaten on 73* off 50 balls. Raja Hassan (37) and Sajid Hussain (28) also played important roles in the victory.

Town Star CC won the toss and elected to bat first and posted a massive total of 344/10 in 34 overs, led by a sensational century from Ahmed Nawaz, who scored 100 runs off just 53 balls. Zain-Ul-Abdin (64), Sajid Hussain (46), and Rana Hassan (38) also played explosive innings.

In reply, Shah Abad CC fought bravely and scored 275/10 in 29.4 overs. Irfan played a brilliant knock of 94 runs, while Asghar added 86 runs, but Town Star bowlers dominated the chase. Ikram Joyia and Ghulam Abbas both claimed 4 wickets each to seal a convincing victory.

🏆 Town Star CC won the match by 69 runs.

ملک ندیم کامران صاحب (سابقہ صوبائی وزیر پنجاب) کی سرپرستی میں 2018 میں ساہیوال میں کرکٹ کا شاندار revival دیکھنے کو ملا۔ ان کے صاحبزادے ملک قاسم ندیم کامران، راجہ ارشد حیات اور رانا سہیل اقبال کی کاوشوں سے پاکستانی سٹارز اور ساہیوال ٹائیگرز کے درمیان یادگار میچ منعقد ہوا جس میں عبدالرزاق، مشتاق احمد، رانا نوید الحسن، ذوالفقار بابر، عبدالروف، ضیاءالحق، سلیم الہی، ظہورالہی، منظورالہی، یاسر جان اور دیگر نامور پاکستانی کرکٹرز نے شرکت کی۔

اس میچ میں خصوصی طور پر ملک ندیم کامران صاحب، وفاقی وزیر پیر سید عمران احمد شاہ صاحب اور ڈی پی او ساہیوال ڈاکٹر عاطف اکرام صاحب نے بھی میدان میں حصہ لیا۔ تمام سیاسی جماعتوں کے نمائندوں، ہزاروں تماشائیوں، چاچا پاکستانی، بابو پاکستانی، ساہیوال پولیس، اور پریس و الیکٹرانک میڈیا کی بھرپور شرکت نے کرکٹ کے ذریعے یکجہتی، محبت اور امن کا خوبصورت پیغام دیا۔

Today, Friendly Match played between Town Star Cricket Club (R) and Friends Cricket Club (R) at Qaid-e-Azam Stadium Sahiwal.

Town Star CC won the toss and elected to bat. Town Star posted a strong total of 298/7 in 40 overs, powered by a magnificent 116 off 84 balls from Ghulam Abbas.

In reply, Friends CC showed great fighting spirit and finished on 287/6 in their 40 overs. Bilawal scored a brilliant century (100), while Masood Ahmad added 52 runs, but Town Star bowlers held their nerves in the final overs.

Town Star CC won the match by 11 runs in a thrilling contest.

Montgomery CC won by 26 runs against Townstar CC in a thrilling 35 Overs Friendly match at Imamia College Sahiwal.

Amjad delivered a match-winning bowling spell of 5/36.

🏏🇵🇰 Friendly Match – “Baniyan Ul Marsus” 🇵🇰🏏

In connection with Operation Baniyan Ul Marsus, launched by the Pakistan Army in May 2025, an exciting friendly cricket match was played at Quaid-e-Azam Stadium, Sahiwal, filled with passion, unity, and sportsmanship.

It was a wonderful game celebrating courage, unity, discipline, and the true spirit of Pakistan.
