Good times were had on the range this weekend.

It can be a steep learning curve for those new to fi****ms, but everyone showed strong progression across both days.

Our October course will be the last one of the year. DM for availability or any private training enquiries.

Can confirm MATT HARDY PHOTOGRAPHY is better at shooting his camera than a r***e 😉

If it wasn’t obvious, living in the UK means going weeks without any live fire.

Whenever I have a class on, I always like to fly out a day early and blow off the range rust.

I’ll start with around 20–30 minutes of dry fire before doing a drill from a cold start.

This was the classic Bill Drill at 7m. I personally set myself a goal of sub-2 seconds, all A’s. These hits were a little lower than I’d have liked, but still in the A-zone.

This was certainly not my best or worst rep — just the one where I decided to put out a fresh target and whip out the ole tripod.

Regular dry fire back in the UK, when I’m not away with work, certainly helps minimise how much rust there is to knock off.

Last week we ran a 3-day private course for a group of three friends.

Day 1 focused on pistol fundamentals. We started by ensuring the importance of fi****ms safety was fully understood before moving into dry-fire work. From there, we progressed through a series of drills designed to reinforce a solid grip, a clean trigger press and how to use your vision effectively.

Day 2 followed the same structure, this time focusing on r***e fundamentals and building the same core principles.

On Day 3, we introduced r***e-to-pistol transitions before finishing with a number of drills that challenged the students to apply everything they’d learned over the previous two days.

A solid three days with a great group of lads who put in the work and made noticeable progress throughout.

If you are interested in private instruction for you and your friends, email us at [email protected].

My previous career didn’t exactly teach me much about filming or editing, but I’m going to try and keep the content coming while training at .

Still getting my head around CapCut, so bear with me as I get my head around it. I’ll keep putting more clips together along the way.

Today is Armed Forces Day — a day to recognise and show support for the men and women who serve, and those who have served. Personally, I don’t think it’s something this country does enough of.

But as a veteran myself, I think it’s important to recognise the contribution of all veterans to this country, regardless of where they served or for how long.

To everyone currently serving, and to all veterans, thank you.

Dry-fire.

Seen a few of you DM me asking what I use for dry-fire training in the UK, so I thought I’d do a quick post.

Living in the UK comes with its limitations when it comes to fi****ms. We’re largely restricted to .22 r***es and long-barrel pistols, neither of which particularly interests me.

At the moment, I use a replica KS-1 and G***k 45 that I’ve had for a while. The weight and handling aren’t exactly the same as the r***e and pistol I use in Poland, but they’re more than good enough for working fundamentals, presentations, reloads, and target transitions.

Recently , I picked up a r***e and pistol from Unit Solutions. I’ve not had much chance to shoot them as don’t want bb’s flying around my flat. but first impression are very positive—both feel well-built and put together.

The scaled targets are from Double Alpha and the target bases are 3D printed by SHADOW®, with some pvc piping from B&Q.
