4 strefy na korcie i jak w każdej gramy (dobór uderzeń, siły, rotacji etc.)

I shared this with my kids: understanding the 4 zones on a tennis court changes the way you play.

Defensive Zone – Play deep to the middle or opponent’s weaker side. Give yourself time to recover.

Neutral Zone – You’ve got options. Stay calm, use the space, move your opponent.

Aggressive Zone – Set up the point with 75% pace. Focus on angles and spin, not just power.

Finish Zone – End it. Don’t play safe. Sharp volleys or wide angles seal the deal.

Train your brain to aim—your body will follow.

Understanding the Four Zones of the Tennis Court

One of the most common mistakes players—both kids and adults—make in tournaments is selecting the wrong shot without considering their court position. Recognizing the four key zones on the tennis court can significantly improve decision-making and overall match strategy.

🔹 Defensive Zone: When pushed back, the priority is to buy time and regain court position. Hitting deep to the middle or your opponent’s weaker side is the smartest play.

🔹 Neutral Zone: Here, you have multiple shot options. Stay calm, focus on depth and placement, and move your opponent around to gain control of the point. Before each shot, visualize your target—this mental training will help the body execute with precision.

🔹 Aggressive Zone: This is where the transition to offense begins. A controlled shot with about 75% pace is ideal to set up a strong volley. Instead of going for sheer power, use angles or heavy spin to keep your opponent on defense.

🔹 Finish Zone: Once in this position, the point should be closed out. A deep volley keeps your opponent in play, but a well-placed volley with a bit of sidespin into the corner of the service box will usually seal the deal.

Mastering these zones will elevate your game and improve your shot selection under pressure!
