Production Mutineer #001 proving light, fast and comfortable. Full mudguards will be a welcome addition during the snow melt.

When conditions are aggressive - cold, salty, gritty - why not keep the overpriced equipment inside, and get the job done with well selected, more cost-effective parts?

TEST 1 - 84km, Forest/Gravel/Road

Current Build: 11.8kg inc. pedals (heavy frame), 26x2.1inch.

Riding Position: Almost identical to my Ridley Crossbow, though down-shift lever is in the way of right hand getting comfortable.

Rollover: Very stable on forest mud and leaves, didn't notice the 700c bikes performing better.

Drivetrain: 1x 38T chainring and 11-36T 9sp. Had no problems on the forest climbs, and coming home on the road at over 30kph - though was mostly on cog 8/9 so will test larger chainring.

Braking Performance: GREAT braking response, and after moving brake levers closer, very comfortable and secure position for descending.
