Trick or treat? 👻🎃🧟‍♂️⠀

What are you scared of doing the most right now?⠀

You’ve been pondering solutions to a problem. ⠀

All the options sound good, even reasonable.⠀

One stands out. It’s also scary.⠀

Which one will you go for? 👻⠀

Do what scares you the most. ⠀
You know it will be challenging but it will also be worth it. The best benefits, results, ROI.⠀

Want more sales? Pick up the phone and call that client. Follow up with someone you’d love to work with.
New job? Send the CV out to the headhunter you know.⠀
New coach? Ask for a referral. Record that video.⠀

If you find it hard, get someone to hold you accountable and help you take the leap.⠀

Whatever you do, do no stay indecisive and inactive. ⠀

TREAT yourself, TAKE ACTION, despite FEAR, and you’ll soon harvest fruit as huge as the gigantic 🎃🎃 in the pics. Love, j xx

My thoughts were rushing. I was jet lagged, had 3 hours of sleep after a long-haul flight, then spent 8 hours glued to my laptop before I left the hotel to attend the event I was so excited about: Influencer 2019.⠀

I mean… incredible line-up of highly accomplished individuals on a mission, my fellow coaches & friends in the audience, and the lovely city… I get to enjoy all these gifts. What else do you need? (sleep, ok…)😎⠀

I remember as if it was yesterday… I entered the beautiful event venue, stopped to take a picture of the poster with on it. As I turned around, I saw , walking casually around the site. ⠀

I was so surprised and so happy! 🥳⠀

You see; when Lewis came to London for an event, I arrived late and missed his entire talk. So gutted! ⠀

This time I managed to even get a picture AND listen to his speech.⠀

Lewis spoke about podcasting and gave his best tips which he applies in his wildly successful “School of Greatness”. Great timing for my own project! 🎙⠀

Apart from giving examples of how he prepares for each interview, he told us how he approaches each conversation with intention, attention and care ☺️⠀

My favourite tips: ⠀
➡️”Hug the heart”. Speak to your guest’s heart. Make it all about them. ⠀
➡️Create something you’d love to listen to.⠀
➡️Create a podcast with a purpose behind it.⠀
.. and... as with everything… ➡️Consistency. ⠀

Lewis has been showing up every week for seven (yes, 7!) years! That would not be possible without a sense of purpose and a true passion for serving the audience!⠀

I got to apply these takeaways last week, in my first podcast interview. Details will be shared shortly.⠀

🎙What is your favourite podcast? What do YOU like about it?🎙⠀
If you have a podcast or an interview show, what tips would you give? 🤗

Earlier this month I had the pleasure to meet Nicola Adams OBE, the first female boxer to win gold Olympic medal, and the first one to become the double Olympic champion.
Nicola was talking about what inspires her, how she manages to stay motivated and to outwork everyone. She also spoke about the challenges of being a woman in boxing and making history.

🏅Her secret? Working harder than anyone else!
🏅Her way to deal with the pressure? She focuses on people who support her and want to see her win.
🏅Her motivation? Winning for other women and blaze the trail for them.

Such an incredible person and a role model!

"Why can't you just settle in one place?" - I used to ask myself this question a lot. Usually while planning a new trip or a move to another country.⠀

The country I'm pointing towards is Poland - my home country. Some of you might know that before I moved to the UK, I lived in other few countries, such as Peru, Portugal, Spain.⠀

Every move to another country was usually a great opportunity too. No many know that they also usually started with me crying to my room 1 evening. One.⠀

In Portugal it was because I arrived and could not understand what people were saying to me. Same in Spain. In Peru, I had a wrong address of my accommodation...⠀

In the end, the need to go and explore was always stronger. It always fascinated me how quickly you can get immersed into a new culture if only you are respectful and learn with curiosity.⠀

The learnings are multiple here. What I did not expect at the time is that they would be so valuable for business too!⠀
Let's see...⠀
👉 learning with an open mind and curiosity is the best way to explore new cultures.⠀
👉 you can adapt to any circumstance and environment.⠀
👉 change and big moves are fun; fear will be your faithful companion, you do your thing anyway. ⠀
👉 when you travel you can adopt any aspect of a new culture which you find useful and valuable, you also get to appreciate your culture more. ⠀
👉 that in essence we are all the same and we want to be respected. ⠀
👉 you learn to be present in the moment and focus on what you see.⠀
👉 you create meaningful connections with people, genuinely.⠀
👉 bonus points if you learn another language; this really helps build relationships - it's like a shortcut to another person's world.⠀

All of the above is also part of my identity.⠀

What story / experience of yours shaped you most? What are you proud of? Share with me! ⠀
🤔👇⠀

Don't you sometimes feel like a superhero in a movie who's just discovered their superpower and is not fully aware yet how to use it and how powerful they are now?⠀

The more you push, the more you get uncomfortable, the more you grow and discover what is possible for you, the more you realise your potential is actually limitless!⠀

Similarly in business and career... The more you grow and work on yourself, the more you see how powerful you are and how many cool results you can create in your life!⠀

Although it can feel scary, explore your superpower and how far you can go. That's what you can control in your life. And that's the type of uncertainty you can remove. Your potential is what you need to find out for yourself.⠀

Have a great week, superheroes!⠀
