Bubble Wrap Print - Easy to do! Look! Step 1 - Take the blue paper. Cut shapes out of the bubble wrap. Step 2 - Dab the bubble wrap shape in green paint. Wipe excess paint off on a spare plate. Press the bubble wrap onto the blue paper to make the grass. Step 3 - Repeat step2 with different coloured paint to start making your picture.

This week we visited India! First the students learned about important symbols, and each received their own individual INDIA workbook. The studnets practiced balancing object on their heads, just like people in India do every day - only no water to spill!. Everyone listend to Mr Brad read The Jungle Book, and then everyone cut out shapes that were combined artisticully to form elephants. One day thay all colored and cut out jungle animal masks. The week ended with a viewing of the film The Jungle Book, fallowed by more fun activities.

On Tuesday the class learned that just like Poland, other countries have Winter Carnival. In Asia it includes dancing, lots of lights and many types of food. We watched a video about making sushi, and then practiced rolling pretend sushi. We learned (and reviewed) new vocabulary like sushi, cut, thin, thick, taste, smell, roll, mix, add, press, and of course “Nori” Wednesday we practiced our new vocabulary and reviewed names and colors of vegetables. Then the children added all the ingredients they wanted, rolled their real and tasty sushi and had a great time! A great lesson that incorporated motor skills, group dynamics, vocabulary, and food! - Auntie Pamela Throop
