He is a titled K1 and MMA fighter, former non-commissioned officer of the Polish army who began his career as a trainer in 2008 by training fighters who belonged to one of the strongest clubs in Poland: Kodokan Gliwice (as a Muay Thai trainer), Fight Area (Katowice, as a Muay Thai trainer), Spartan, Knurów (Muay Thai trainer), Fight4Fit (Muay Thai and self-defence trainer). In the army he was resp
onsible for training soldiers within the scope of, among other things, hand-to-hand fighting. He ended his career in the army after 7 years to focus only on sport and his passion. He made his first steps in sport and martial arts in Poland where he began his trainings in 2001 in a Ju-jutsu club in Przemyśl, where took him his father, ”It was then when I began to love this sport, martial arts where you depend only on yourself”. Paweł’s first trainer was Sensei Robert Wyskiel, who made a young boy accustomed to the basics of techniques. The next trainer with whom Paweł stayed and made friends was Tomasz Dańko who was the first one to prepare him to competition. For many years I have derived great pleasure from boxing, wrestling, kick boxing, mma, muay thai and ju jutsu. When he was 18 he took part in his first competition in 2005 and got the third place in an international MMA tournament. When he was a soldier he got to the judo team of the Polish army, however, two weeks before championship he got injured, which did not let him participate in it. Another participation in international MMA competition was in 2007. He won one fight before its end, and in the other one he got more points. In the same year he won his first Muay Thai fight. After a long break caused by his injury in 2008 he wins another Muay Thai fight. In 2009 he wins 8 times in MMA competition. It was also then in 2008 when he began his career as a trainer and became the second trainer in Kodokan club helping his fighters win the Muay Thai league. In the same year he becomes the first Muay Thai trainer in the clu. Thanks to a very successful collaboration with the manager and founder of the Kodokan club, Mariusz Ważny, and Arek Matkowski they managed to create the strongest Muay Thai group winning trophies in competitions. Another person who has a significant impact on Paweł’s sport and trainer development is Sławomir Pelec (wrestling and MMA trainer), who by supporting Paweł helped him set up his own martial arts club which was supposed to be a place for both professional fighters as well as people who have never had anything in common with martial arts. That is how his new adventure with Fight Area club begins. It places a lot of emphasis on personal trainings and passion and love for this sport gives excellent results, victories in competition and a large number of satisfied clients with whom Paweł still keeps in touch. After a few years Paweł comes back to conducting trainings for professional fighters at Spartan Knurów club collaborating with Sławomir Tokarz, the founder of one of the strongest sport teams with boxing, Muay Thai, MMA and BJJ. It was an honour to join such team. That is how I recall the beginning of collaboration with Sławek. We managed to prepare fighters on a very high level. After the success of personal trainings at Fight Area Paweł decides to begin collaboration with his mentor, trainer and close friend Sławomir Pelec and together with him open Fight4Fit club which is from the beginning joined by their friend and excellent fighter Przemysław Wejner. After one year and a half of successful development of the club Łukasz Sawicki, an ambitious and young fighter and trainer joins the club. In 2015 Paweł decides to move to Dublin and repeat the success he achieved in Poland by setting up Body Armour club which you are a part of right now and together with it write our story…
