At Caguas Golf Club, caring for the course also means caring for the environment that surrounds it.

We’ve recently installed a new aeration system in our irrigation lake that pumps oxygen into the water through a series of bubblers and air transducers. This helps keep the water healthy, prevents odors, supports aquatic life, and allows us to recycle irrigation water while relying mainly on rainwater.

It’s one more step in our commitment to maintaining our golf course responsibly while protecting the natural ecosystem that makes this place so special.

Hole #1 is evolving.

We’re planting over 200 trees across the course, reshaping the landscape and refining the way the game is played. What was once wide open will now tighten strategically, introducing subtle doglegs and more defined shot selections — while keeping the course fully playable. ⛳️

This is thoughtful course design.
This is intentional transformation.

Greg Sherwood introduces a very special friend visiting from Scotland, Alasdair “Ally” McDougall. A former national team player and Head Professional at Greg’s home club overseas, Ally was touring Puerto Rico and joined us to test the playability of the course.

And yes… we let him hit the shots. 😱
