🥋🇯🇲 The Jamaica Karate Federation was honoured to join the Jamaica Olympic Association 2026 celebrations under the theme "Let's Move, You Can Do This."

Through karate demonstrations our athletes showcased more than techniques—they demonstrated the power of the human mind, body and spirit working together in pursuit of excellence.

Karate embodies the Olympic values of friendship, respect and excellence while helping individuals of all ages build confidence, resilience, self-discipline and a commitment to lifelong physical activity.

As we answered the call to move, we were proud to join the Jamaica Olympic Association and the wider Olympic family in inspiring Jamaicans to take that first bold step toward positive change, personal growth and a healthier future.

Thank you to the JOA for bringing the Olympic Movement closer to our communities and for creating opportunities to celebrate the unifying power of sport.

Preparación de la Selección Nacional de Karate de Puerto Rico 🥋🇵🇷

Nuestra Selección Nacional de Karate continúa su preparación intensiva con miras al Clasificatorio del mes de abril, que se llevará a cabo en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana. Este evento es fundamental, ya que otorgará las plazas clasificatorias para los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe 2026, que tendrán como sede esa misma ciudad.

En el marco de estos entrenamientos, contamos con la participación de la invitada especial Valentyna Zolotarova, destacada medallista de los Juegos de la Commonwealth y de los Juegos Bolivarianos. Su experiencia en el escenario internacional aporta un valor estratégico a la ruta competitiva de nuestros atletas de alto rendimiento.

El equipo mantiene su enfoque en asegurar la representación de Puerto Rico en la justa regional más importante del área.
