The 2026 Island Amateur Championship is set to begin, and we are proud to welcome our local and international players.

Thank you to every player traveling from abroad to be part of this championship. We wish all competitors the very best as Round 1 begins this Friday at the Grand Reserve Golf Club in Puerto Rico.

With the last three champions back in the field, the competition is heavy on this international stage.

We welcome our guests from Bahamas, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, and Panama.

The male individual winner of the Puerto Rico Golf Amateur Championship will earn an exemption into the 2026 U.S. Amateur Championship ,taking place August 10–16, 2026, at Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

On the women’s side, Arabella López returns as the 2024 & 2025 champion, ready to defend her title.
