Your breath is more powerful than you may know.
Aside from keeping you alive, your breath can be a powerful tool for working with difficult experiences that haven’t yet been fully processed. It can help you find a sense of calm when you feel triggered or overwhelmed, reconnect with your body, and create space for greater self-acceptance and self-love.
My next Trauma-Informed Breathwork Teacher Training begins next Saturday, August 29, and I have just a couple of spaces remaining.
The investment is $999, and part scholarships are available. If you’re feeling drawn to the training but the cost is a barrier, please reach out. We may be able to find a way for you to join.
Could this training be for you? 🤍

The final in our series is Abhinivesha.
Abhinivesha is our resistance to change and uncertainty.
We hold onto what is familiar, even when it no longer serves us. Yoga reminds us that CHANGE is not the problem. Our resistance to it creates suffering.
Next up - some tips on working with the kleshas!
Remember that we're digging even deeper on yoga philosophy at my upcoming retreat, Reparenting Your Inner Child in Utuado, Puerto Rico October 30 - November 1st.

Breathwork is this Wednesday, August 19, 6.00-7.30pm at La Isla in Miramar.
Breathwork offers a space to pause, slow down, and reconnect with yourself.
Old stories, survival mechanisms, and the stresses of everyday life can keep our nervous system on high alert.
Give yourself permission to pause, breathe, release, and return to a more regulated state.
Tickets in link in bio $45. Or message me for a part-scholarship.

Our son has been home for the summer guiding snorkeling tours for Try Scuba Diving Worldwide. Today, I got to go on a couple of tours with him. It was so great to see him in his element ❤️.
We saw turtles, loads of fish and an octopus (video 4)! I am also including some of his other videos of a nurse shark, a sting ray and a baricuda that he took on other tours.
