This humble servant was invited by to collaborate in a Yoga–Shamanic Journey–Sound Healing community gathering ❤️‍🩹.

My offering was sharing the practice of Mantra Yoga.

A mantra is the repetition of a sacred sound or divine name used to liberate the mind.

For this gathering, I chose to accompany the mantras with the ceremonial drum, matching the shamanic vibes of

The mantras shared were for Ganesha, Shiva, and Kali.

In the Hindu tradition, Shiva is the ultimate yogi and cosmic drummer — the one who creates the rhythm of the universe. It is believed that existence itself follows his sacred rhythm.

Shiva also represents the divine masculine. He is one with Goddess Parvati, also known as Kali, who represents the unshakable fearlessness of the Divine Feminine.

Together they have two children, one of whom is Ganesha, the remover of obstacles.

These mantras were chosen to work with three energies within us: the masculine, the feminine, and the inner child — that part of us that remembers that nothing is impossible.

Grateful for this opportunity and the community that gathered. 💕

Estas son algunas de las muchas caras del Yoga. 🧘🏽‍♀️

A veces encuentras la paz interior… y otras tantas, la incomodidad de salir de tu zona de confort para trascender y actualizarte a una mejor versión.

Las asanas representan tan solo 1/8 del universo del Yoga y, al mismo tiempo, son un espejo del trabajo interno — dentro y fuera del mat.

Lo importante no es la postura o la situación en sí,
sino cómo asumes tu postura, cómo reaccionas ante la incomodidad, cómo celebras tus pérdidas y tus logros y
cuán disciplinada eres para alcanzar una meta.

Aunque a veces una postura o situación parezca imposible… la verdad es que somos profundamente capaces de lograr lo que nos proponemos. Y si no, lo dejamos pa’ la próxima Vida-Muerte-Vida. 😜

Como nos recuerda el Bhagavad Gita, en el trabajo espiritual no hay pérdidas ni retrocesos: todo lo integrado permanece y el camino a la realización del Ser continúa… 🌀

✨ ✨ Hace 6 años nació la propuesta de Areyto Yoga, también conocido como Ritual de Unión. En sus inicios, (hija de Boriké 🇵🇷) y .inspira (hija de Colombia 🇨🇴) se unieron con la intención de honrar los caminos ancestrales y sus linajes. Pero pronto, sus propósitos de Vida tomaron rumbos diferentes y cada una dio forma a sus proyectos, sin dejar de apoyarse mutuamente.

Así, la misión de Areyto Yoga comenzó a transformarse: “honrar la cultura taína a través de rituales de sol ☀️ y luna 🌕”. Porque para sanar nuestras historias, es esencial conocer nuestras raíces.

Hoy, celebro el origen de esta historia que continúa creciendo y vibrando con fuerza: 🌿

🕉️ En la trinidad hinduista existen tres principales gurús (removedores de la oscuridad o del velo de la ignorancia): Brahma, Visnu y Shiva.

Estos tres nombres, formas u energías representan el proceso 🌀 de creación, preservación y destrucción, respectivamente.

En particular, Shiva es el yogi 🧘🏻‍♂️ por excelencia. Le cantamos a Shiva para honrar la capacidad del Ser de permanecer en silencio, en calma y dirigir la concentración al gurú interno o luz interna 💎.

Shiva 🐍 también representa todas las adversidades de la Vida-Muerte-Vida. Por medio de su energía de transformación, se hace posible la auto-realización.

Aunque las mismas son secuencias poderosas, el ritmo de es sutil, pausado, guiado por medio de la respiración consciente.

Hatha Yoga: Ha significa sol ☀️, ta significa luna 🌑 y yoga, unión. Esta práctica promueve la integración de la energía solar y lunar, masculina y femenina, mediante una serie de ejercicios físicos 🧘🏽‍♀️ para la desintoxicación del cuerpo-mente y la armonización del Ser.

La Hatha Yoga es tan solo una preparación para prácticas más profundas de auto-realización. La meta es alcanzar “isvara pranidhana”, amor y devoción por la divinidad que habita dentro y fuera del Ser viviente.
