5K Electroiluminante rules and Information UPDATED 5/19/2016

Race Information: Race Date May 21st 2016& INFO
• Packet pick up 3pm-6pm (During this time registrations will be sold at 40.00 for groups of 5 or more and at 50.00 for individuals CASH ONLY)
• **Please complete the waiver BEFORE arriving to pick up your packets, this will save you time! (waiver attached to email and on the website www.exxtremixta.com)
• Check In 6:00pm
• Everyone has to know their bib number the lists with the bib numbers will be located near the packet pick up.
• 5:30pm Music starts
• 6:00 Flexi_Bar warm up by Johanna Montalvo
• 7:30 pm Gun time, Participants : walkers and participants with children go behind the runners.
• 9:00pm RACE CUT OFF, at this time if anyone is still on the course you will be picked up and disqualified.
• 11:00 END
• There will be only 2 Oasis throughout the course
• There will be 3 color stations but participants will be splashed 6 times.
• BRING EXTRA $$$ there will be KIOSKS with Food and Drinks for Purchase for a non-profit organization Summer Levantate

Pasan un peaje que les queda a mano izq.Aprox una milla a milla y media depues de ver el peaje (justo después del peaje hay una salida a mano derecha NO es esa seria la segunda salida después del peaje a mano derecha) van a ver un rotulo a su mano derecha de la salida hacia Finca Elena/Parque la Marquesa (tienen que estar bien pendientes porque el sign esta entre los arboles). Se salen por esa salida una vez salen por la salida cruzan la luz y siguen directo, esa es la Carr 834. al finalizar esa carretera veran la actividad de frente.

You WILL get WET! You will have water squirted, dumped & thrown at you at various stations on the course.
Bring an extra change of clothes and a bag for your wet clothes.
Wear an outfit you do not mind staining.
You are encourage to use a head lamp, route is dark
Walkers & Strollers will begin behind runners in the 5K Fun Run. Strollers may get wet. PLEASE if you are running with a minor child , a stroller, or you are a walker, place yourself with the behind the runners that are competitive. We want this to be an injury free race and if you place yourself at the beginning of the wave you run the risk of being pushed.
BRING CASH, for food, drinks, and glow gear for purchase.
We encourage you to bring your own carry on Black light so you can see yourself shine through the course.
Bib Number must be pinned to the FRONT of your shirt so you are identified as an Electroiluminante participant. If you do not have your bib number you will NOT receive your finisher medal.
To receive your medal you must go over to the timing chip table, turn in your timing chip and receive your medal. No timing ship=No medal
COSTUMES Are Encouraged! However, participants must wear appropriate clothing.
Traffic control and course officials will be in staff at all intersections and the Guaynabo Police department will be assisting.
All course officials/volunteers will vacate the course at 9:30pm. Anyone who continues to run/walk/or wheel on the course after 9:30pm.will do so at his/her own risk.
Age Requirements: Only registered runners may participate.
Vehicles: Unofficial wheeled vehicles (bikes, skates, skate boards, roller blades, etc…) are not permitted on the course. Wheelchair entries are encouraged.
The spirit of friendly competition should apply throughout the 5K Fun Run. Any non-sportsman-like conduct constitutes grounds for immediate disqualification or removal from the course.
We reserve the right of admission.
Participants must obey all directions and instructions by event officials.
Participants will start the race and run on the right hand side of the lane after 1.5 miles you will be instructed to make a U turn and participants will run on the left hand side coming back. (Circuit like)
Know where you are going! It is the responsibility of each competitor to be familiar with the race course.
No MP3 Players, iPod's, Walkmans, or devises which might impede hearing are permitted on the course, and they can get damaged by the water.
There will be NO prices, this is a fun run.
Cancellations/Postponements: The Race Director reserves the right to cancel or modify the race in consideration of extremely adverse weather conditions, or other health or safety factors that pose an imminent threat to competitors or volunteers. In the unlikely event of cancellation, entrants who have picked up their race number will be mailed a coupon for partial credit towards next year’s entry fee.
